there is this mechanics i saw landing the ember chain by buffering/skill queueing "auto attack + searing chain" on the hero where you wanted to land your chains

Yeah there's a trick while sleighting that allows you to pretty accurately land chains. It is probably even easier now because the sleight is so much slower

i think it's normal ? like lvl 1 wex definitely wouldn't help much and both lvl 4 Exort and Quas would definitely help him farm with double forge spirit. I think it just bad matchup against ember, like usually high lvl quas with cold snap would heals invoker a lot in laning stage
