Fuck I miss hearing those bands as they were happening, feeling the times as they were.. Then this woman, who is a BABY compared to me and came along well after this music that I grew up with, takes this song and absolutely HONORS IT. Not only does she honor Chris, but she honors HIS honor of Andy. I’ll never be a candy pop guy, but in her heart, Miley Cyrus isn’t a candy pop girl. This music suits her, and she sure as hell suited this song. I hope the next time you listen, it affects you the same way as it did the last time. Be well.

Does it matter what genre the songs are? Have any of you really taken the time to know who she really is? Many of you already know which brought you here like she did me. Expecting Miley to drop what she's been doing and just devote herself to sing hard rock music to placate a stunned crowd is laughable. Those of us who followed Miley here to the Chris Cornell Tribute knew she would "crush it" like she's been doing it all along where ever she's been performing since she began. Miley is incredible. She can do it all.

The question i asked myself after like 100 times ive listened and watched is this HAS ANYBODY EVER REVEALED THAT THEY WERE WILLING TO DO THAT SONG AT THIS TRIBUTE? The woman picked a song and she chose the most difficult of them and then smashed it. We should all feel guilty for doubting or being surprised. I doubt anybody asked her if she was sure she wanted to do that song. Oh also this She sang that without rehearsal , she easily compensated for her 1 little blemish near the end. This woman is one super cool chic and that would be damn hard to lose now. What raw guts . Just the fact that she is a fan put her and I on the same team!

Music is the answer to most of my problems. Thank god for it and thank Miley and temple of the dog for this song. I’m interpreting it differently but I’m just sitting in my car bawling my eyes out. It’s therapeutic and beautiful but also sad. When will he accept help? Who knows. But I’m here. Thanks Miley for this! If it weren’t for music I’d be dead. If you’re listening in 2024 know everything’s going to be ok.

She has the voice of our generation for sure. She’s so adaptable and amazing. All the shit she got, and she just comes back with a vengeance each time. I love her so much.

Elizabeth Thorburn Jones when she sings quietly her tone and vibrato are similar to Stevie- they use a similar technique When singing out too.

She actually does some songs on Howard Stern and they talk about her and Stevie Nicks talking a while back. Worth looking it up and listening to it when u get a minute, if u haven’t already...

Because she’s off key. It’s in a lowered tuning and she can’t even come close to hitting the high notes. Sounds like a pathetic Scott weilend trying to sound like Eddie Vedder before he found his voice with STP. Just terrible
