Why don't English Football clubs have unique club songs , maybe a popular old tune but new specific lyrics for the club as all the 18 teams in the AFL in Australia do. This song I'll always equate to Wolves Wanderers as they used / still do sing it at their matches.

QPR first starting using hi ho silver lining in the 90's after a Victory and the lyrics (by the fans) got Changed to Hi ho Queens Park Rangers, This song only get's played after a Victory - It's never sang as a Chant during a game, The First club to use hi ho silver lining was Sheffield Wednesday , also , Aston Villa, & Wolves use the song, it's also getting used at T20 Cricket, i agree with you but QPR fans association with the song is only with a Victory - The actual QPR song would be Pigbag - Papas Got a Brand New Pigbag - The Current song now for football is "Sweet Caroline" it's a song that is used when you have won also not original i really agree with you.

@@AlienJazzParty2006 Thank u for your reply and heart but it still seems all "wishy washy " and random all these great and old football clubs using these same songs at any time and at the same time as their rivals. Pen a unique club song which u can play forever and proudly after a win or at special occasions as they do in Australia and it truly becomes a warrior song more important to some fans then the national anthem!
