Picked one up when it first came out from Chicago Knife Works for $56. Because of that price it became my favorite budget knife for 2024. Cool video! Happy new year

Another one that's on my list. I like these kinds of crossbars in particular. SOG does a similar thing with the grippy oblong button, and of all the crossbar locks I've messed with, theirs (XR lock) is my favorite execution of it. The most comfortable and secure-feeling. Though the buttons seem to be retained by the scales (I have not taken my Terminus XR apart to verify), which leaves a little play between the button and the crossbar itself that I think could be improved. I was interested to see how the buttons are retained to the crossbar on this one (if they're somehow integral to the lock or are separate pieces), but you didn't really mess with that. I understand you didn't want to get too deep into it, but that I particular was of interest to me. Any thoughts as far as that goes?

No doubt it’s a cool knife. But, after getting the Kubey Ceto 14C28N with HRC 60-62, it’s Kubey what I’m going for from now on. It’s holding an edge like a S35VN.
