I've got a problem with label not refreshing itself after clicking button. It is being refreshed only after I change focus to another app. After some troubleshooting I found calling repaint function as only working solution to my problem. Any idea why is that? I'm using Qt 5.11.1 for clang_64 under High Sierra 10.13.6

Interesting. Repaint should be called for you, so I'm not sure why it's not happening. Double check the signal/slot connection. Also, it's possible that the label isn't visible. Try logging the value of `ui->label->isVisible();` to verify it is visible. Also in the constructor you could put `label->setVisible(true);` for good measure. Hopefully that helps

When I read the text from the button, it reads it with a & sign beforehand. Why does that happen?
