It can be those things but it doesn’t have to be, not to mention I’ve seen like fucking three people already hating on the leopard print, which is not at all central to the clip, and while not something I would wear personally I’m not gonna fucking hate on it just because I don’t like it. And people genuinely just don’t understand mental illness either, like if sleeping with a chair under your door makes you more comfortable because of a past experience, than there should be no contest to whether or not you should do that. If it is something that literally HELPS YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT. it definitely would help her, It's not about stopping the police, shit noone can stop the police in muerica lol, it's about being informed and being mentally prepared for what's about to come; also the ease of mind knowing no stranger(except police, again nothing can stop them) can just barge in ur door so u have to grab a knife to defend urself. it's like having monitor alert for normal ppl, it definitely will reduce stress for ppl, and just knowing there is only one point of entry can create a lot of comfort for her ptsd

​@@LOLBTLOLBT First off, you're making a lot of assumptions about her ptsd. There are probably layers of the issue even *she's* not aware of. So even if you *maybe* fix that issue, there's probably still a ton to deal with. Second, I highly doubt it would actually help her. You're proposing a rational solution, but ptsd and trauma just aren't rational. She'd probably still have the same issues even with a battalion of security. I've had experience with something similar. People say "oh, yeah, XYZ will totally help" but it just doesn't. It *should* help, but it doesn't. Think of it like a phobia, just... a lot worse and a fuckton more complex. She essentially can't trust anyone else with her security or safety. The people who are supposed to uphold security are literally the ones who caused the traumatic stress.
