Quick history behind the duomo in Florence, when it was being built there was a competition between the rival city to Florence: Siena. And there was a constant back and forth to who’d have the larger church (Siena ran out of money and land first so the church in Florence is larger - but they both spent so much money that the insides weren’t as intricate as the outsides). Also you can walk to the top of the duomo up a massive amount of steps with super tiny passageways.

I watch your vlogs, and have done so ever since you raided me with 1k viewers whom all left suddenly after they experienced my over 24hr stream and it not being for charity while also being the weirdo who doesn't even know you until that moment.
