And what about how 2 of Jacqui's variations have guns but she punches too? Or Jax with his heavy weapons? Although if you're talking strictly about the confines of the cutscene where he runs right at him then I'll agree with you on the question of why didn't he shoot. Clearly though he likes to take his time lining up his shots, since he did so with Rain and got stopped by Mileena, Jin and got stopped by Takeda, and I don't even know about when they run at each other.

The truth is that Kenshi was hanging out with Demon Man because there actually best bros but just as the variation says “Possessed”, Demon Man possessed Kenshi and made him stay with him for a bunch of years but then he broke out of the trance to come back to Takeda but Kenshi didn’t know he was possessed. The reason why Kenshi was using him 8n the fight was because Demon Man wanted Takeda dead so him and Kenshi could be BFF’s no homo

I'm disappointed that the variations change special move commands. If some moves are replaced, why not keep the same command for different moves. I was afraid it was a roster of 20, but learning 60 characters. Glad you can turn the negative edge off (wish you can update old games, like MK9's negative edge), but until I get the game for more than a few hours, I'm kinda scared to learn the game.

Here's the thing though, Goro is a dlc character yet he has no other skins. Most of the new characters only have one alternate skin. Down the line it's a possibility but designing Jason as a character alone is hard enough to pull off doing Jason X looks like a totally different character. But it's possible

VastSpartan It's not that he badmouthed it, hell he even gave it an 7/8 out of 10. He was just saying that the new chars were useless and were focused too much on in story mode, that story mode sucked, that story mode was too short and didn't give any new story on veteran characters, the one char he DID like - Erron Black - only is fought once in story mode, and that the game is full of micro-trans dlcs that break the game and cheapen the entire experience like hiding Goro behind a paywall. So yeah, just no, Joe. No. Takeda and Cassie are awesome new additions I use constantly and the other new chars are fantastic too. Story mode didn't need to add so much new stuff to old characters because they've had nine other games to do that. Max's vids PROVE you fight Erron Black more than just once. The DLCs do NOT cheapen the gameplay, they aren't required in the slightest and you can ignore all the DLC stuff... ... Although I have to give him the point about Goro. It's just odd. EDIT: His main sticking point was the easy fatalities. Am I hearing correctly that they've been taken out?

Why do people like Takeda so much? He's cool I guess but I don't really put him above anyone else in his squad. And the beam swords and whips are cool but it only goes so far because when I play him I find myself troubled with the insane windup, small and unreliable combos, and the lack-thereof in the Ronin variation.

TheThethunderfox dmg alone doesn't make a good char..... i'm not gonna say one by one here, but, he only has one low start up(that is really slow) and he has no overheads, basically no 50/50s in a game the requires 50/50s... + if you look at his combos, the all have the same start up(B3, Possessed/ B32/Balanced), he's bad, like, unviable bad....
