I was super excited to watch this until I saw the comments saying the end is sad. PSA to all indie filmmakers: STOP MAKING DEPRESSING FILMS. People who are already depressed about who they are dont wanna watch a film about the same crap that happens in day to day life. People search for lgbt films to feel ok with themselves, not to feel like nobody can win even in a scripted film where the end is predetermined. If I had a dollar for every film that seemed really wholesome but ended in suicide, murder, or not mutual feelings!

I’m gay and I have this guy friend who I’m in love with. I’m pretty sure he’s straight because he has a girlfriend. He’s also very masculine but I notice whenever he’s talking to me he touches me a lot and is very sweet compared to how he would talk to other ppl. I have experience with this situation. Find the right moment if you want to make the first move, but ask for permission first. Your friend sounds bi but these type of guys are EXTREMELY difficult to deal with if you-re lkng to have romance or a LTR with him. I suggest to embrace the moment but dont get yourself in trouble. Ask questions how he feels about gay ppl, etc. If he's young he has A LONG way to go n do something gay unless you are smart about it. But ask first. G luck

He enjoys it with you because you do not think that this makes him gay. b) He could not realise that he is being more affectionate with you than with others and just thinks you two are very close c) He might wish to makes things more physical and romantic but is scared to declare his affection unambiguously so makes all his actions capable of being read at least two ways. It is very hard to recommend any course of action that is perfectly safe for both of you. A lot depends on your age, location and background. Do you live in a location and in a culture that is accepting of gay people. What might be the reaction of him and others if your make the first move? Certainly I would not make the first move a physical one. That only safely happens in the movies. In today's world there are many opportunities to judge someone's reaction to gay people. Maybe if you have both seen a TV show or movie such as Love Simon or others maybe you can discuss how you like it. Particularly you can say how others, including straight people, at the school seemed to be supportive of Simon and Blue together. Maybe you could ask what might happen if Simon and Blue were in your school, college of workplace. You could say that you would be supportive of them too and ask him if he would be too. Depending on how that conversation goes you might ask if he would be supportive of you if you, hypothetically, were gay? Remember we are talking only hypothetically at this point. You could say that you be supportive of him too if he were hypothetically gay. Stress that you are not making any statement or claim because it's all hypothetical right? You are only trying to make it safe for him to "come out" if he wants. Don't push things. Give him time, space and understanding to declare himself gay, straight or bi. Even if he is gay it is not automatic that he loves you. I hope this helps you and maybe others.
