Area fishing, the activity of trying to catch fish in men controlled ponds, has gained popularilty in Japan.
Anglers fish bass, carp, mainly trout. They are more and more clever in fighting against men.
That is why it is more interesting of making tactics for cathing them too.
Each of fishers use different techniques and I try to get them with minnow plugs only.
Making videos of fishing, I shall be happy if you get to find the enjoyment that big trout chases and bites a lure in going crazy.

相変わらず美しいミノーイングに惚れ惚れします！いつもありがとうございます！ 蔵王FSにはよく行っていたのでちょうど2号池のジャガーかけた位置で釣りしてたのを思い出して懐かしいです😊 最近は白河FSに行く機会が多いので、ミノーイング攻略する機会がありましたら拝見したいです〜

コメント有難うございます。ご覧いただけてコメントまで、励みになります(^.^) そうですね、7月はまだギリギリ可能ですが、8月は平地のエリアでは水温が上がりきってしまい、魚がグロッキーになるため放流自体が減るエリアさんが多いです（北東北や山間部のエリアだと比較的水温は落ち着いていますが）。 ミノーマンの方々も各々この時期は渓流に繰り出したり、ソルトをやったりする方が多い印象です。

I’m a big fan of your videos and fishing style. What setup do you recommend for this type of trout fishing? Rod action and length? Spinning reel size? Line type and size? Thank you in advance

I am glad you watched my video. The best part of this fishing style is comparing wits with the fish. I hope you enjoy the journey to find the best solution to catch fish. As for tackle setting, the best choice for a rod is a dedicated rod, Chase&bite's Puzzle or H.A.L's Rhyzmo. Apart from that, I recommend a fast-tapered native rod next at around 6ft. A stiff rod as a stick is not m a good choice. This fishing method uses line slack, so if the rod is soft enough to allow the rod tip to enter a little when twitched, it will make it easier to create line slack and perform fine manipulations. I think 2500s reel is the best choice. The default handle length of 50mm is fine. I used to use the 2000 high-gear reel, but even though the amount of rewind per rotation of the handle was the same as that of the 2500, the reel was heavier, so I had the impression that it was difficult to use the reel with slow and rapid changes in operation. The recommended line is 6lb fluorocarbon line, but I use 5lb FC Sniper Invisible line. I choose 5lb because I want to operate it more technically. I know this is a long post, but I hope it will be of some help to you.

Oh one more question, i know that there’s different types of minnow what do you think is good for beginners? Sinking? Slow sinking? Suspending? Floating? The pond I fish at has no current and the water depth is from 3-6ft.

There is no current and it sounds like a shallow field, I would recommend you HMKL SHAD65MR, 65SR, zagger65, Getchu66MD, Double Clutch60、75. As for the type of minnow, I recommend a slow sinking model. The reason is that large fish settle on the bottom of the water, so after you cast, the minnow sinks, allowing the minnow to swim at your preferred range. The larger the fish, the more severe the range at which it uses its mouth. If you cannot swim the minnow at a certain range, fish often do not chase the lure. Floating lures are difficult to adjust the range, and if you let the fish see the lure for a moment and let it swim, the lure will float and the range will be shifted up. There are situations where it works, but basically the plug used for this fishing method is a sinking model.

すごい！水中映像でトラウトとの駆け引きみれるの面白いです！ 映像みてると、けっこうトラウトも餌を吟味してるんですかね？ そのなかで本能を刺激されたときに反射的に食らい付いてる感じがしました！

コメント有難うございます。そうですね、流れの中は魚にとって酸素が多く心地良いので、仰るとおりそこにいる個体は自分が定位している場所から離れずに流れてきた餌を捕食する傾向にあります。 そのため重田さんの提唱するとおり、コースやレンジ、捕食本能を刺激するアクションがよりシビアになるようです。 これからも水中動画をアップしていきますので、是非ご覧くださいね(^.^)

ミノーのカラーってどれくらい重要ですか？ あと、持ってるといいカラーがあるなら３つ教えてください。

カラーはかなり重要です。天候、活性に応じて使い分けるので同じミノーでも複数種持って釣行に臨んでいます。また、同じミノーでもアイの微細なズレやスプリットリングの重さ等で泳ぎが変わってくるので、同じカラー、同じミノーでも状況に応じて使い分けたりもします。 前提として私が購入するのは動画で使用しているような重田佑馬氏カラーです。この釣法の第一人者であり、魚を刺激してスイッチを入れるためのカラーリングになっています。 その中でもスパークルシリーズと呼ばれるグローが強いカラー体系でナチュラル、アピール、クリアで1本ずつ持っていればまずは立ち回れるのではないでしょうか。 スパークルシリーズでいえば、 ナチュラル:スパークルスモーク、スパークルブラウン アピール:スパークルチャート、スパークルピンク クリア:スパークルクリア のザッガー65SS、65F1を探してみてください。
