Definitely getting better, mostly clarifications to things Jesse let out of his big mouth, not so much what was played wrong. Good job! 3:15 Clarification: Dismembered arm makes you unable to use two-handed weapons (a keyword on certain weapons), paired weapons are not two-handed weapons, it’s just two one-handed weapons. So using paired weapons still works with only one arm, imagine them having the other in their mouth or stuck to their arm stump or whatever. 😉 13:20 That’s the Dead Monster terrain tile tho. 😂 19:50 Clarification: So… Arrows and bows in KD:M, wonky as heck. Giant Stone Face gives ranged weapons (once again, keywords) +2 range and +2 accuracy, Cat Gut Bow is “weapon” and “ranged”, it gets all those benefit. Claw Head Arrow is not a ranged weapon, it’s just “item, ammunition, arrow” and it uses the range of an equipped bow, so the arrow benefits from the +2 range via the bow but it does not gain the +2 accuracy. I don’t know what Jesse rolled there but let’s pretend it was 6+ and carry on. 😊 Also if Jesse had pulled the trap, guess what? All hits would’ve been cancelled, no -1 evasion token. The more you know. 22:50 Clarification: Collision only causes damage via additional effects such as the Antelopes Trample or colliding with the Stone Column. 😉 27:40 Fun fact: Bite is the absolute worst card the Butcher has (and there’s two of them). Why? Because the severe head injury caused by the trigger cannot be dodged (“After Hit” triggers before the opening to dodge presents itself, no HL die roll, no dodge). It’s brutal. Also the amount of times you took it straight in the face makes me slightly uncomfortable. 😅 34:00 Protip: If the blue survivor still had a lifetime reroll, they could’ve used it to try and reroll that one hit into a miss. 37:00 Clarification: Once again, if the effect on the HL is before a Reaction or there is no Reaction, it happens before you roll to wound. 37:20 Minor oopsie: HL cards slipped into AI discard. And yes they get reshuffled in later and noticed. 38:40 Two axes and ambidextrous: Something about all eggs in one basket etc. 😂 Also I’m really glad Shira caught onto what the survivor is still good for. 🤣 41:45 Clarification: Infinite Kick does not form an infinite loop by itself. While an AI card is in play, it is not in the deck or in the discard and as such cannot be drawn. The “Draw an AI” text on the card is part of the card and the card is not discarded till it’s fully resolved. To create an infinite loop you’d need 2 AI cards both with “Draw an AI” effect on them. 43:00 Major oopsie: Forgot “After Damage Bleed 1” from Dreaded Trophies, orange should have 1 more bleeding token. 44:45 For the record Shira, I cut you a decent amount of slack as you’re still learning so don’t get cocky now, but keep doing what you do best. 😉 45:55 Line of sight ruling was correct. 🥳 Line drawn from center to center is how it goes. 56:55 Major oopsie: You can’t fire your bow, it’s cumbersome, you already moved. ALSO, the HL deck wasn’t shuffled after resolving the trap. 😅 57:45 I think you only forgot the extra bleed once. Intimidate actions and Bite for example don’t do damage so no after damage, and basic action already has Bleed 1 and the effects do not stack. It’s hard to keep track of it and I forget about it easily myself as well. 58:45 Major oopsie: When you suffer “blind”, you suffer the severe injury in it’s entirety, including 1 bleeding token. Orange now has 3 bleeding tokens +2 tokens that were forgotten = 5 = 💀. But really, you shouldn’t have been attacking in the first place. 😅 1:03:30 Minor oopsie: You can’t move and shoot Jesse! You could’ve shot from where you were standing tho. Showdown, rules wise, not bad at all, all of the misplays turned out to be inconsequential and the end result would’ve remained the same. 😂 1:11:30 Major oopsie: So this is a bit tricky, can’t blame anyone for not knowing it. The way Cannibalize works, you draw the resource the moment the survivor dies, write resource down to settlement sheet, return card to deck. By the time everyone had died, all the resources were already in the settlement storage and as such they would’ve been wiped out by the Butchers aftermath. But you didn’t really know what you were getting into with Cannibalize so… Maybe I’ll allow it this time. 😜 1:12:25 I’m just glad I wasn’t drinking anything when you drew that settlement event cause oh my lord, that is some luck right there. 🤣🤣🤣 But if it makes you feel any better, it could’ve been even worse. 😏

@@Creepo11 beat me to it ! As always his rule interpretion is on point. I'm just going to add a showdown start trick (strategy) for the beginning of the fight. Start with your survivors in the corner this way you have a complete turn to setup positioning, AI's (headband) , locations (cat eye), or buffs (if you have any special effects). Butcher is not very smart... he chases survivors even if not in range, this effectively makes you most of the time negate the first 2 AI's bring him closer and don't exhaust turns for defensive options.

Well done @Creepo! You missed a few illegal insanity gains tho, for example at 47:27. @Quackalope As the monster controller you only gain insanity when the monster could legally choose between more than one target for it's attack and you pick yourself. At the given timeframe it only had one target.

@@Alanis4life Now I may miss a thing here or there, nobody's perfect, BUT that's not how the monster controller bonus works. From the Living Glossary (updated a year ago): Monster Controller Bonus "When a monster controller's survivor becomes the target (or one of the targets) from a Pick Target list on an AI card, this foolhardy action earns that player's survivor +1 insanity." There is no stipulation anywhere for having it be an actual player choice, straight and simple. 😉The primary requirement is the Pick Target action, which is important, cause you don't get it from reactions and such.

No. That’s a common misconception, but you keep gear even if you TPK. It’s one of the few bones the game throws you.
