Just finished this three part series. I did not realize that quads were so versatile. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience!

Hi Justin, thank you very much for the Quad Videos! A lot of informations about your designs and your 2-boom-construction-solution. A stack of short quads (2...5el) will be a good solution for contesting (look at the yagi-stacks of 5p5t, dr9a, ol3z, k1whs or k5qe). I think I will give a stack of you 3el-LFA-Qs on 2m-contesting a trial. The only problem is to buy your antennas in Germany after the brexit ;-) Good luck, thanks for your work and see you in the next video! vy 73 Gerald, DL1RG

I have read that the real gain advantages are not realized until the two quads in phase are ≥ 1 wavelength apart. So I am wondering, relative to what? The outside loop wires, the inside wires, one outside and one inside wire or the average-center of the individual quads?

Hi Justin, nice antenna work, especially with stack experiments. I'd be interested in the physical element construction details, and wind load/survival characteristics for 28MHz. Subscribed to help you get over the 1k sub mark! Best 73, Jeff ex 9H1EL

Hi Justin,I have constructed 3 element twin QUAD using conventional design and using nonmetallic boom and supports.I'm interested in using your design, for the driven element, can it be tuned for an impedance of 50 ohms?
