I upgraded to core 3.0 yesterday and got the free plugin. It all sounded okay and went to the next page on my quad where I have your captures and I have to say your captures kick some ass.... thank god there still on there. Keep making them please...

That sounds awesome. The WOW effect is emulating the DigiTech Whammy pedal but you will need an expression pedal to get the octave/pitch shift sweeping effect. Listen to Stranded and you'll get it.

Great idea putting the bike footage while reading the questions, it was nice to see :) You seem to live in a city surrounded by nature and water, which is great. I’m lucky to live in a rare neighbourhood in Montreal (Quebec, Canada) where I’m 10 mins walks away from a big park (Bellerive if you want to look for fun) that borders the St Laurence River so I can go put my feet inside the water. It’s like a small village inside the city, which is great :) On a side note, It’s funny because before the bike segment, I was like “Did he lose some weight?” so I guess your work and your rides did that. You seem to have melted haha 💪🤘

Thanks for commenting. Yeah it's really nice here. I have the best of both worlds going on. I live kind of on some back roads but really close to the city and some parks and lakes as well. It's awesome. I have a lot of great Trails behind me as well. And yes, I lost about 12 lb so far. Thanks for noticing lol. It's been quite a journey.

Wow the new update and Gojira plugin sounds fantastic. I am going to update this weekend. I was recording using the QC so I wanted to finish that first. Like you Im a metal guy so I will get the Gojira as my free plugin. Then I will probably do a video intergrading the new options in my presets. Love the bike, enjoy. My only other hobby is going to the gym. I am also my daughters personal chauffer as well, lol.

Thanks for commenting. I know you're going to love the plugin. It's amazing. There's a lot of great stuff in there that you can definitely integrate with your other presets. That's one of the things I love about these, all of the awesome Easter eggs. I definitely love going to the gym as well. Now I get to ride my bike to and from the gym and enjoy the trip. It makes it so much more fun.

Killer sounds. I have a QC and I’m always looking for better sounds. Are you going out from the quad cortex into a power amp/cab? I saw the mic’ed up Zilla there.

That sounds absolutely amazing 👍🤘 👍 Best Quad Cortex Sound I‘ve ever heard. !!!!!!!! I loaded the Gojira plugin onto my quad cortex and set it up the same way you did. But when I listen to your video with headphones and play my quad cortex with the same headphones via headphone amp it doesn't sound like your sound. Yours sounds significantly bigger, wider and much more balanced. My sounds boxy and shrill . Do have any idea what can I do? Will it Sound different when I use an interface? Many Thanks !!!!

I really, really enjoyed watching that bike ride. Where exactly were you riding and how hot was it? This area looks very nice!
@TONEWARSgearshow5 ай бұрын
Thank you. I was just riding some back roads and neighborhoods that are near me. The first part of it was when I left the gym and I was on my way home. On my way home, I just stopped through some neighborhoods and rode around there so you guys can see it. It was about 90° that day. When you're riding on a bike, it doesn't seem that hot though because of the nice breeze you get

Would I be able to get your "typical sounding tones" or your "personal created patches" playing through a BOSS KATANA MK2-50w or a FENDER MUSTANG 3 75w? If so, what is a Quad Cortex or Tonex? What do they do?

So I don't mind the gojira plug-in but I'm actually more of a fan of the Pliny plug-in which is completely the opposite of what I was thinking I was going to enjoy the most. I have both of them but I'm really leaning towards the plini side... It just seems very versatile. I am fingers crossed that nolly gets released to pxom compatibility extremely soon

I should’ve gone with plini x because I picked gojira x and I’m not a heavy metal player. Idk why I did that. I’ll make the best of it.

I didn't get great tone playing guitar until I bought a hoverboard. As a conservative, I always saw Lithium powered devices as the ultimate liberal tool and I still feel that way. Liberal's love their ebikes and their Hoverboards. Luckily when I charge my hoverboard, the ac hum from the charger feeds into my audio system and that "hum' is the magic elixer. Now that I have hum from improperly grounded devices: feeding into my audio gear, my guitar tone sounds straight out of the 70s. LIberals are right............battery powered cars and bikes are the future.
