I knew him from Angra for many years but I relatively recently discovered his solo stuff and DAMN, everything from jazzy, funky, fusiony stuff from the earlier records to more proggy stuff from the latest album is extremely tasteful & measured and he has insane chops on top of that! @The Wolverine I heard demos and reviews of the AXE III. Can’t feel this kind of “organic” or “living” sound at all. And well, they could have done much more advance with the UI. But they didn’t (and the price was/is ridicoulous compared to it competition). The Headrush was better with the UI area, but the Quad Cortex takes it to a whole another level (both: sound quality and user interface). Is like it is stolen from the future!
