One thing I found to replace it which is about as fun is to go revolver/deag pump. Use the revolver to start out with and switch to pump, then revolver, then just alternate. Not the smartest close range strat but hella fun

Daequan I *tested this* and this was the order I found the shotguns to be in strength depending on distance from opponent: 5 meter: barrel, pump, tac, heavy 5 meter (headshot): barrel, heavy, pump, tac 10 meter: heavy, tac/pump, barrel 10 meter (headshot): heavy, pump, tac, barrel 15 meter+: heavy, tac/pump, barrel 15 meter+ (headshot): heavy, tac, pump, barrel! Arlife GM nah because kids who are good and build will put up walls when you shoot. It just has to big of damage drop of to be viable. Only really great is situations where you guys are basically within two floor distance(literally) after two floor distance it starts to do 10 damage and under lol so shooting down at kids while on high ground makes this gun useless. You have to literally be on them and in build fights means trying to jump on whatever that kid is building if he’s good bc no good player will build up to you exposed and let you get that shot off.

Cooknn you need to be accurate for it to beat double as when it runs out of ammo your have a long reload time. For double pump you can miss 2/3 shots.

I agree, I feel like it doesn't fit the "role" of a shotgun in the same way pumps, autos and heavys do, I feel like its in an entire separate class of weapon in terms of what it's used for. Therefore a double barrel is not a replacement for the pump in the same way an AR isnt a replacement for the pump. I think it's not a stretch at all to use double barrel AND another shotgun (or drum gun tbh) in the same loadout, you use your shotgun of choice for your standard close-range engagements, and just in case you get into sus distance you can switch to the double barrel and pummel them into the ground. Because although the range is complete dogshit, you have to admit that within sus distance it's probably the best weapon in the game. Unfortunately there is role overlap, because your standard shotgun is also really good at sus distance anyway so theres not a lot of utility the double barrel provides. I do feel like the spread needs to be tightened a little though, that or the fire rate should be buffed

It's obviously too powerful. I mean it's more powerful than a gun that one-taps. I'd do it like this: It does 90 damage per shot for the purple one and 95 for the golden one (old Pumgun stats) and has a headshot multiplier of 2.25. It'd barely make 200 so you really have to hit a PERFECT headshot to one tap someone. I'd give it a firerate of like 0.5 (0.2 slower than the Pumpgun).
