I appreciate the audio John. Its nice to be able to hear you over the wind being picked up on mic. The picture in picture edit is genius, thanks

I want to buy one of these..but always thought they would be to difficult to understand. It sounds very intuitive. You have given me the confidence to give it a try.

Yesterday was my first flying day with a Quad kite and sincerely it looks easier when you manoeuvre it.

May I ask, who was your teacher John?
@JohnBarresi3 жыл бұрын
Well, other than my first intro lessons by a friend in SF in 1990, nobody, just clawed my way through it, observing, practicing and competing since then (last comp I entered was in 2017)... Lots and lots and lots of hours of flying, pushing, exploring. 🤷

Do you fly in Destin over the winter??

I suppose in light of the fact that there is no word in any language that can describe this guy's skill "master" will have to do.

Very kind - thanks! After 26 years of dedicated flying, I'd like to think I figured out one or two things. :)

Grown men and kites. So sad
@Kitelife5 жыл бұрын
Aye, heartbreaking that grown men can make a fair living doing what they love these days, and travel around the world to boot? We'll light a candle. lol

It’s possible to see something you don’t agree with on the internet and simply move on with your life. Call me crazy but I like to see people happy and succeeding in life.
