I always get a half bucket of warm water 💧 and 2 dish towels. One to wipe the bugs off and the other to wipe bike parts dry. Plus you can do several bikes. Never leave the bugs on for a long time. Glad to see your 4 footed family together again. At least you'll sleep better knowing she's back home again. 👍👍

Good to hear Madison is back. We teared up a bit with Kelly. We just had to say goodbye to our 16 year girl. It's gut wrenching to say good bye to them. They are a big part of the famliy. Regarding your quad lock purchase the poncho cover for it. It will protect it if it rains and from bugs and rocks. Take care.

We were -2F here this morning. I installed the Quadlock charger on my mount yesterday and ran the power lead back under the seat and plugged it into the second heated gear plug. It made for a nice clean install. With my phone plugged in as soon as I turn on the bike the phone starts charging and then shuts off when I turn the bike off. The charging base I have is just a tiny one compared to that one. It has to plug into the phone though, whereas yours is a mag charger. Got my fingers crossed Maddison will be okay.

I've had a lot of brands before trying QuadLock. They are legit. I'll buy whatever is the best, and some similar designs from other companies are out there now, but I have been sticking with QuadLock. They charge a premium, but the products work well. Their shipping is atrocious, though. It's 2024, if you are going to charge anything for shipping it better be 2 or 3 day at the most. The damper is great, hasn't killed a flagship phone yet, and I have 3 had phones on 5 different bikes using the damper. A single thumper, V-Twin, P-Twin, triple and boxer haven't killed a phone camera yet! My phone stayed mounted even during an off-road 'oops' on my KLR where I low-sided.

If Madison is not complaining and eating up everything she’s getting back to her old self, no pawn intended. Lol. I felt so good knowing that is alive and doing well cause Trouble not returning did not set so well with me. Stay safe and nurse the old girl back to herself and I know at 14 that will be somewhat of a job but I got faith in you guys to get that done👍🏽😎

I absolutely know what you mean when the number of thoughts that go through your mind during a panic attack.... I was also wondering about Madison what had happened to her in the fulfillment of time concerning her accident. It's good to hear that she is home. Hope she has learned a lesson this time.

If she is in good spirits and she’s eating good just watch her for anything that might change. Dogs can suffer from brain issues the same as old people and maybe that might explain her wondering off. Good luck with her. The way you have your bike set up is all you need for local rides and when you go on a long road trip figure out something else.
