Sir, there is nothing wrong with this video, in fact, I enjoyed the light-hearted manner in which it was presented. Since you offered and granted us to be free to comment, please consider the following, regarding Bernoulli's equation in assessing lift in wings. Bernoulli equation presented as C= P + r.(V^2)/2 assumes that there is no additional energy input to the streamline being considered. So I rather write it down as P+r(V^2)/2 + Energy input. where P is related to the static pressure energy, r(V^2)/2 is related to the dynamic velocity energy and Energy Input can be from various devices We shall neglect the height and gravity effects. In a wing placed in a wind tunnel or in free flight with a powerful engine to sustain flight, in both cases the leading edge and the lower surface supply a lot of energy input to the fluid particles, and, here is how it goes. The extreme front of the leading edge of a fast-moving wing will input a lot of energy to the particles to get them out of the way where this energy is supplied by the engines propelling the wing and it is part of the drag, or from the energy of the moving fluid in a wind tunnel. I believe there is also the effect shown in this video after the leading edge. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d3LNepejjq6NqLM Let us assume we are using a wind tunnel to see the streamlines a little better than a real flying wing. . Before closing in on the leading edge, a fluid particle has this condition, P1+ r.(V1h^2 +V1v^2)/2, and when the leading edge supplies the high input energy to the particle, the conditions/state of the particle increases both the pressure and the velocity at the leading edge to P2 + r( V2h^2 +V2v^2)/2 where V2h is the horizontal velocity component, and V2v is the vertical velocity component of the particle navigating around the upper leading edge all the way to the trailing edge following a streamline, where it is dumped in a downwash. Due to many reasons, V2h, the velocity horizontal component, and V2v, the vertical velocity component, and P2 can vary while the particle traverses on the upper surface of the wing. Normally MAGNITUDE OF velocity increases hence pressure P2 decreases. All this is Bernoulli SHOWING its varying states as a particle traverse a streamline. Pressure P2 in the Bernoulli equation is a scalar and so acting in the vicinity and close to the upper surface, its reduction will cause all the mass particles above it to be ACCELERATED DOWN in a Newtonian manner, and this is what causes the downwash at the trailing edge.( hitting your scale balance in your drone experiment) The relative fast motion between particles and the lower surface with its angle of attack imparts energy to the particles in the streamlines where the velocity normally slows down and the Pressure increases, so fluid particles moving under the wing are also accelerated down as to join the downwash behind the trailing edge. ( hitting your scale balance in your drone experiment) All this extra energy to the fluid particles need to come from Engines, Wind tunnel motor or losing height in gliders, Thermals or cliff soaring, or bungee launching, or the towing aircraft. What was described above agrees completely with what you said at 7:30, " That the weighing machine proves that Newton's laws very much prevail." Sir, there is absolutely no difference between what Newton said and what Bernoulli said, it is only a variation of words describing the same theme. Thank you for your video and the lighthearted manner in which you present your views. When I was young more than 75 years ago, I was asked to guess how much a kitchen scale would weigh if a canary in a cage perched on the rod or flew in the cage! In electronic engineering, we have a circuit called the Bootstrap circuit and its origin was a case of a mother telling her son, " if you want to reach higher levels in life, your only hope is to pull yourself up by your own bootstraps. Thanks again for your video. All the best.

I saw this video posted on a off site forum. I miss videos like this, non commercial videos of just common people doing their thing in the basement. When youtube was young and before google monetized it, videos like this, of common people, was its mainstay. Now, sadly, unless one has direct link to such videos, they're practically impossible to find is why view count on newer or non monetized videos are so low, cause no one can find them, they never appear in the side bar for suggested videos. I mean if you type in aviation or physics, all you'll get is the same looped suggestions, stuff that lowers IQ, teaches you nothing, but is entertaining, like top 10 crashes, or 5 reasons plane crash, stuff like that. I would bet there a millions of common people videos like this one, buried on youtube, that people just cannot find unless have a direct link. The only reason I found this video is cause someone posted it on the 'Pilots of America' forum', cause someone wanted to know 'do birds stall like airplanes stall' Had this video not been posted on that aviation forum, I'd of never found it.

Hi peace of CHRIST upon you, i was thinking ,if we have one airfoil that start curved and at the end of the airfoil we have like one flap that go forward to make the air straight again ,and dont let the air go down, then will we have the same amount of lift or do you think no ?, i was thinking that may be the lift is generated not totally from the air that go down but in the moment the air curve by the law of newtow we have a equal force lifting the wing and the air going down also produce lift, so if the air go down we have double of lift but if the air only curve we have half of lift, may be my theory is wrong , but i dont know, i would like make one experiment, so amazing your videos my friend, keep going, i will subscribe in your channel( by the way i m from brazil )

If there isn't a net acceleration downwards of the air flow, then you don't get the lift - causing the flow to straighten back out again will result in a downward force.
