For anyone wondering, In Summit Pt.2, the quote at the end is in Polish. It translates to, “And there in that place, that loneliness is one that you pick yourself, you don’t treat it like a bad thing, it’s simply accepted, it’s that moment where you can simply be there and even be happy because of that loneliness, and especially be happy because of returning to other people soon.” Great album bro, keep evolving

Really cool fact about this album, listen to the ending of Summit Pt.2, notice anything? It’s the exact same as the intro to Couloir. It perfectly transitions throughout the song, and then it loops at the end back to the beginning as if it was starting the climb all over again.
@quadecaX83 жыл бұрын
Yessir! It’s from polish mountaineer Wanda rutkeiwicz talking about summiting a mountain that’s what the “in that place” is referring to the peak- about the loneliness of being in the mountains but the internal growth u get for when u return

Oh Quadeca, I don't know if you'll see this but I wanted to really say thank you for putting out this album. The album really spoke to me and honestly, I feel inspired to start making more music now. This album to me is a metaphor for what life really is and what it brings along the way and I feel that you brilliantly captured that concept with this. This must have taken so much effort from you and I respect that work-ethic more than you realize but I hope you know that even since you started making music, I believe you really showed a new level of growth and maturity, and as you grow and slowly make your way through this maze called "life," music will always be here for you so I applaud your efforts and will offer this advice, hold fast to your passion and don't lose sight of your dream, because life is like a river, and you are just entering its stream.

man I don’t care what any reviewer or fantano says, this album is incredibly accomplished and heartfelt. I was unaware of quadeca before this album but then found Sisyphus and decided to check out the album. The fact that a ‘KZbin rapper’ could make art as deep as this caught me off guard and made me realise, he isn’t and shouldn’t be labelled like any other. ‘KZbin rapper’ is an insult, fuck labels. This man obviously has so much depth and talent for not only his songwriting, but also production. Take the last pieces for example (summit Pt 1 & 2), cmon now, the layers, the ambient sounds, the build, the coming full circle with the concept and completing the journey. Like that shit could honestly be turned into a stage production showing the summit on stage, imagine it. Anyway just wanted to say that quadeca made a masterpiece of an album that is severely underrated. Yes, there are some short comings, but honestly this is just straight up pure art with production so good that is rivals or surpasses producers who devote their whole lives to the craft. Like the fact that this is self produced just blows my mind. Never stop man, keep reaching higher and higher. The world is a better place with your spirit in it.

I know for a fact track #10 is prod triplesixdelete
@CER103 жыл бұрын
Quadeca produced a majority of the album, although he bought beats that were produced by other producers: LUCAS QUINN (Track 8; Maybe Another Day...), triplesixdelete/pilotkid/MADXDAMN (Track 10; Burnin Bridges / Long Day) and NiklāvZ (Track 16; Where'd You Go?) adding additional production to each of these tracks. *Edit:* Also MADXDAMN co produced Track 10 Quadeca also notes in his Quadeca Exclusives video using a seperate session drummer for Sisyphus. Also if you look at his Logic breakdown for the song, you can see some file names with "Fiverr" in the title, implying he paid for some production element off Fiverr, which could be these additional session drummers (or even violinists) he mentioned.

Eight songs in and somehow in a uncanny way every song so far reminds me of my ex, our relationship, our breakup and her suicide. It's kinda happy and sad. Four years have passed and it still hurts. This beautiful project reminded me today after all of that, I can still feel. Guess I'm not the only one broken wings still trying to fly And then Alone Together comes on and I can't stop crying.

old quad had that gritty, fast flow, “I’m always going to stay an underground rapper” type vibe to it but now his mixing and recording is fresher than a glass of water and the sounds he uses completely contradict the simplicity his old songs had. The versatility really shows in this album and if we could get something like this more often then that would solidify quad as one of the best artists of this generation

I am not a huge fan of rap music in general. I actually normally listen to classical music. I love Debussy, Vaughn-WIlliams, Wagner, Rimsky-Korsakov. But this music..... I understand it. It understands me. Somehow you, just a guy making your own songs, wrote something that I completely understand on a soul level. From a technical standpoint your sound design is masterful. You create such unique soundscapes but they are cohesive into one big masterpiece. This album is something so whole, so beautiful. Truly an achievement.
