Have been running a freestanding Classic Bay 1200 every winter since 1998 it is our main supplemental heat source. Burn 150-200 bags of pellets each winter. Of course normal wear & tear on operating parts. Very impressed that all parts are still easily available. Well designed & built, it has easily paid for itself years ago.

I'm going into my 10th winter with a Quadra-Fire Mt. Vernon insert pellet stove and have no complaints at all. It has been rock solid every winter, my main source of heat in a very large house. It allows me to scrimp on how much propane I burn every year, cutting my annual costs from $4K in propane to about $1500 in pellets and propane. The Quadra-Fire was pricey at first, but it paid itself off in fuel saving in just three years.

Thank you, great video. We’re getting ready to use ours for the first time this week. Installed in June, so we felt a bit rusty on the thermostat instructions. We were old school, fire starter gel & wooden matches on our last stove which we had for 24 yrs. Liked & subscribed!

Great video. I'm looking to buy one soon and basically have it down to this model or a Harmon 42i which are both sold by local dealer. Which one would be the better unit if price was not a factor. Thank you.
@MilesPelletStoves2 ай бұрын
Appreciate the message. Please subscribe. If price is not an issue, The 42i would be preferred. The CB1200 has been around for a while. Its still a solid unit. Much easier to maintain on insert models. ThankvYou Brett and Briggs

Just picked up one for $400, any recommended replacement parts to keep on hand?
@MilesPelletStovesАй бұрын
Nice...Hope it all runs well. Replacement parts on hand? Snap disks, auger motor and igniter can come in handy. Double check the condition of the 2 fans. Please Subscribe Thank You Brett and Briggs

How do you open the panels (specifically the right side) of a 1100-I Hearth Classic Quadra Fire Pellet insert Stove? Pellet Stove won't start, wondering maybe a fuse? Thanks
@MilesPelletStovesАй бұрын
Hello The 1100 Quad is a pretty old stove. Right side inside panel via screws or bolts to remove. Unplug stove for safety. Check fuse. If the stove still does not operate after checking or replacing fuse.....stop. many parts for the 1100 are not available. Definitely don't want you to sink a bunch of money into it.
