Hey Rob, that build looks absolutely gorgeous.. unlike other overkills. With the new tyre mount kit load of the tyre is shifted on side of the vehicle, does it affect stability and ride quality?

Does the tire carrier clear the right brake lights?
@MidKnight21422 жыл бұрын
I'm curious how this would work on the Gladiator, I think AEV's website says you can put the rear bumper/tire carrier on the Gladiator but I don't know how the spare tire carrier would work unless it locks into place somehow and you have a way of unlocking it before dropping down the tailgate.

What company did you use to paint the trim rings?
@laloolhouvum16342 жыл бұрын
It would be a better product if the reverse light at the rear bumper comes standard. AEV wheels do look beautiful and aggressive but they're quite heavy. Imazing wrapping a 37 inch mud terrain wheels on 17 inch heavy wheel isn't the most ideal when you're already heavy with all your accessories, foods, clothings, spares and tools.

So, I totally appreciate AEV design and attention to detail. BUT.... Over 5k USD for a front and rear bumper/tire rack?! Ummmm.... That is a serious stretch for what you get.

Tony from Genright off road says that no matter what bumper mounted tire carrier you have it will break of at some point if you are really using your Jeep! His broke and he is one of the most experienced off roaders on youtube.

I recently put on this bumper, with the gas tank. I’ve been looking for a spare tire bike carrier that will fit with the gas tank but haven’t found one. Seams the only option is to get a hitch mounted one. Would you happen to know of a spare tire mounted bike carrier that fits with the fuel cell on? Thank you 🙏

2200 for this entire setup plus tax. I'd never pay that. You can buy a 500 dollar tube bender, 500 dollar plasma cutter and 200 dollar weldar. 100 bucks in steel. And still save money making it yourself. No way I'd ever pay this for this bumper. True this has some nice bent parts, but dang 2200? Really?
@Dog.soldier19503 жыл бұрын
If you look at the MSRP of these rigs 2200 is small change. Meanwhile my TJ seems to be just fine.
@themanthelegend70483 жыл бұрын
@@Dog.soldier1950 man I hear you there. But asking 2200 for something sounds like buying a hunter biden painting. Overpaying for some reason.

I am an avid DIYer, fabricator and welder and there is NO way you can replicate the design, with parts tools and real labor and say you can make this exact product cheaper. China is good at knock offs and they haven't even tried to knock this off... If you cant afford it that's OK, buy there certainly many who do and will that can't spend the time to try to replicate it themselves.
