Aruna's reaction at the end shows what a nice guy he is. And Kreanga took it like a champion as well. Great match. These two are my two favorite players actually :D

This sport can be so big if every match looks like this. Thankfully neither of these guys have very good third-ball attack but both are absolute beasts when further away from the table.

Imagine a player with arunas forehand and kreangas backhand, with the magic touch of xu xin far off the table, the footwork of ryu seung min and the services of schlager/waldner. The perfect player is born. 😅

Kreange is great! He is still playing at the age of 45, very impressive. If you compare with the chinease stars, who retired all with ~35 this is a really big achievement.

@ingullar8 жыл бұрын
Aruna's techniques are very poor, he actually plays on junior's level. He's single advantage is fitness. Kreanga is already veteran, much older than his opponent, injured a lot of times in the past, so I wasn't surprised that he lost this game... All respects to Kalinikos that he is still playing TT.
@shezie1258 жыл бұрын
Well that "Junior level" player made it to top 8 in the olympics #justsaying. His technique is not poor, its different, albeit unorthodox, but it works well for him.
@greenLinkLP8 жыл бұрын
Kreanga was never injured.Thats why he still plays.He is known for his physical fitness.
@ingullar8 жыл бұрын
***** He was, dude, I'm sure, but he didn't inform you about this, oooops;)
@greenLinkLP8 жыл бұрын
Well he didn't have a serious injury like Ryu zjk or Timo etc.
@inyourface1238 жыл бұрын
Cannot agree more, except that Aruna's single advantage is not his fitness (he still has sloppy unstable footwork) but his forehand power. Unorthodox or not, his playing style looks ugly and his backhand is non-existent.
