Given how "fast paced" Enlisted can be, "Snipers" is probably the wrong term to describe how Sniper Squads play/probably should be played. You are Force Recon, Advanced Recon, Dare I say "Ghost" Recon. "Remember your the Ghost Squad, Don't leave any traces behind." You are that guy who Flanks all the way on the far edges of the map where no one will ever look and proceeds to harass enemy Squads as they try to rush back to the Objective. Probably the most interesting thing about sniper squads is how you Buildout the Squad itself. Do you take a Radio Man or a Engineer? Do you tank a AT Gunner or a Assaulter? Sadly you can't have everything you want in a Sniper Squad, which is weird cus you CAN in every other squad, even the Radio Man squads.

I like the FG 42 Sniper for the close-in flank movements like you but in that situation you found yourself in towards the back with the spawn point behind the tanks I carry a secondary bolt action sniper rifle. I have also seen the same issue with sniper rifles firing way to the left or high off the map this last week. The same glitch effects tank gunners from time to time.

@@petorian343 I don’t care about pistols because they don’t actually matter in any meaningful way. Fights in enlisted aren’t being won because someone had a sidearm. With how much I have to change my loadouts, I have zero interest in bothering with them

@@HeyQuadro play how you want, but that is simply untrue. The amount of times my primary mag has *nearly* squad wiped only to leave a couple stragglers to be finished off by my pistol is innumerable, too many to count. In those moments, they do matter.

Can i suggest a fun strategy for high tier snipers? Use the double weapon slot instead of the ammo bag,equip a stg44/fg42 without optics as a close quarter weapon and carcano 7.35/m91 as proper snipers(the optics are a bit worse of the kars,but the reload is clip based ,so it s faster to reload )

You could always use different sniper trooper and have backpack slot on them and then equip large nade pouches and play nade spamming build with normal nades, molotovs, WP and impact nades all are useful if you have 3 of them and throw them in a quick succession.
