The noise on that t.bone mic was amazing. Sort of shocking that they would even try to sell that. Maybe it was broken? I don't see how anyone could use it for any normal purpose.

That was my impression, too. You can even hear it on the outdoors version, where normally any mic noise is masked. Shocking indeed!
