The accidental bluff. So confident in their hand it causes you to fold better; or at least almost fold better.

the mistake was calling flop raise. Either 3-bet or fold! If you're behind, then calling is a disaster. If you're ahead, then calling is bigger disaster on this kind of board.
@grandpied

@@pot_kivach160 Yes, exactly it's usually a mistake unless trapping or calling for pot odds. I hate mistakes. I saw Brad Owen w/TT second to act call an UTG raise. Why not raise instead to get information? UTG had something like AQs missed the flop but took it down anyway with one bet or two bets, and you know how it is one mistake leads to another and so on. Later he had 45s and hit a rather nice flop but played that poorly too, and another one. But to his credit he did have a nice T7s on the button, missed the flop entirely and all subsequent streets, and river bluffed with only ten high and beat out a pair of folded kings w/bad kicker. It's his latest tournament poker video, and it was pretty good.

I am cheering for you, Sam! A friendly suggestion if I may. Bust out your knitting needles for a couple of sessions. Your reputation proceeds you and you will always get paid when you’ve got it, so stop betting if you don’t. Stop playing hands like 64 suited. Stop 4 betting king queen off, especially in low stakes. Play a solid boring GTO style and I am sure you will print. Like I said, nit it up. I am cheering for you and hope you get on track 😎

yeah, srsly. dude, it's live low stakes. just play abc. stop busting out advanced or fancy moves. thin value, 4-bet bluff don't work against most fish. the only "fancy" move you need is nitting it up and whenever the time is right, bluffing them out using your tight image. i'm rooting for you but damn it's frustrating to see you lose to these chums.

Every single crusher has sessions like this where you feel like the fish. That's why NLH is the perfect game, fun players need to win 20-25% of the time otherwise the player pool dies.

That KJo slowroll hand reminds me of a hand I had recently at 1/2 live where I was sitting with mostly inexperienced players and decided to triple barrel an AK bluff all the way to the river, which was a brick queen (all other cards were low, something like 9234r). He tanked for over a minute and called, I announced ace high and he rolls over pocket queens for top set.. absolutely insane unintentional nitroll (or can we call it a fishroll?)

I'm not sure that the price is right for the 6 4 suited call (you did call it a punt later).. pot odds need to be 2 to 1 for break even, and when you figure in sets w redraws and possible higher flush draws, doubt you're getting that. nut flush draw, or at least K high with possible overcard outs, maybe. I'm sure you know the math better than me.. just be careful about that urge to make the lucky gambling call, or you'll make crazy plays like rampage..

First hand, he could have anything really...people need to understand that 1-3 is the LOWEST live stakes that can be played in most casinos, its not different than playing .1/.2c online. You are analyzing hands at a level that is counter intuitive at these stakes.

Is the 64 of diamonds hands really priced in? The Q♦️ isn’t clean so you only have 8 outs. If you do the direct odds you’re priced out by .05%. Plus someone could have better diamonds. Just fold the $40 man

pocket QQ (1:48)...FF (Fear Factor) took you down in this hand. Flop 3-bet was a MUST! It was not much to pay for it either. Just raise to $90 would stop him from believing he is the owner of the Universe holding 5th nutted hand!? The proof is that this guy did not slow down even when a diamond hit the turn board. Neither did you (?!?). I'd be worried about that diamond. There is where you los it: on flop.

like the idea of the challenge. if youre going to play low stakes, which ive played a lot of. people play their hands faceup way too much and their bluffs never make sense. if they bet big they have it. dont overplay your draws and definitely dont get married to AK. also try not to reload 3+ times in a session if youre on tilt, the tables will be there tomorrow. good luck on the journey, and always happy poker!

I am convinced Even the top Pros would lose in an average 1/3 table. I think 1/3 is a lot tougher than 2/5 because tue Players in 1/3 Are legit half brain dead and half high in cocaine. 2/5 is only harder in the sense that your losing streak can be a lot worse And Players will pur you in tougher positions and have to think more.

Bring the moustache back dude... Also, it's like you forgot how to play against low stakes players. 4 bet bluffing with KQo? 5 bet shoving with AQs?!?! Are you just trying to give money away? Sure you got him to fold this time but 1-3 players are just so rarely folding a hand they 4 bet with. Even 2-5 players rarely are. Just play solid and tight with the occasional bluff. You'll print money again.

your talk about combos and all sorts of stuff you dont really need to be thinking about. throw gto (which you dont know) out the window. play your opponents. you can find folds that in theory are calls and youre supposed to get stacked but in real life people play striaght up at this level. please understand that at this level you can essentially wait for nutted/premium hands and value bet all 3 streets. you can also mix in check raises which is a super useful tool to use against the nitty players. but dude this is scary because you dont have card sense and have no idea where you are in these hands. you need to stop playing and study. im rooting for you but damn bro you have to prove your a winning player before you drop everything and try this. you are a losing player. you will reach - 2 million before you hit 2,000 profit. let that sink in. you have to put the work in so i dont feel bad for you. you have great editing and camera skills use that and shift to other content. stop blowing youtube checks on buy ins you cant afford. you have 11k followers which is amazing. find a way to grow it more without killing yourself sitting at a poker table hours at a time while you lose money

That call with the 6 high flush draw one of the worst calls I've ever seen. Dead to Qx of diamonds and almost dead to any better diamond draw, and then you're getting worse odds than 35% if one of them has a set, which the preflop aggressor has every combo of. The 6 high flush draw is unfortunatley almost always dead multiway. You're not just "priced in" simply because there are 2 other players in the pot Of course this situation can be avoided entirely by folding the 64 suited preflop in utg1. You clearly think you have a significant edge over this player pool which is why you're opening so wide from early position but it's clear you just don't have the edge you think you do. Tighten up or get a job! This vlog series is embarrassing
