For cheapness salad tongs can be useful. You would need fairly good dexterity. Other times I have a Helping Hand. I live in the UK so not sure if they are worldwide. I have a folding one for shopping. Mason your reacher looks very trendy and futuristic. Thanks for another great video.

I'm happy for you that you have tenodesis. Plenty of quads don't have it. From what I've seen, tenodesis is very useful in providing all kinds of functions to make life easier

I am very thankful that I have tenodesis. In the beginning, I didn't have tenodesis but finally got the function to work while in rehab. Yeah, tenodesis is extremely helpful.

Was it ever a problem like feeling light headed to sit up? If so how did you overcome it? Any tips would be appreciated

Yes, I experienced that in the beginning of my injury. It's due to a lack of blood flow and circulation, which can be helped by using compression stockings such as these: amzn.to/3wLBKe0 Thank you for watching and commenting!

Those reachers a) cost a small fortune and b) are only good if you have tenodesis. I'm not sure if you ever followed Chris Colwell...but he was their poster guy for a bit. In fact that's Chris on the page you showed...holding the knife 4:11ish. He had, I don't know how many...4 I think. They do have a sip ad puff reacher...but as I said...the company should be a shamed of themselves for charging what they do. I use a long stick and a hook...or telescoping stick. Magnets on a long stick are life savers as well.

Yes they do, which is why I was hesitant about buying one for a long time. That's why I wanted to get a discount code for my viewers. As I stated in the video, they offer a grip-n-puff version that you can use if you do not have tenodesis. Yes, I watched his videos. He is where I first learned about QUADTOOLS. I have a long stick but need another one that has a hook on the end.

@@masonx54 yes, I have a collection of telescoping long sticks. One I use is quite original...it's for light items only and is actually a Swiffer duster. It's about 2 1/2' long to begin with....then it telescopes 6 more feet. It's great for dusting and cleaning up high. The other telescoping sticks with pretty strong magnets are actually nail picker uppers I got from the hardware store. Sadly, Chris passed a couple of years back. He had a horrible time with AD and it finally took a toll on him physically. Just about all his videos have been taken off You Tube...which is against his wishes. But there was some kind of scandal with him and the princess of Dubai...and I wonder if the king didn't do it. They disappeared shortly after his return to the states.
