Quail Station Assembly

How to install a quail station offered by Plateau Land and Wildlife.
Offer supplemental food and water to the smaller wildlife utilizing your property with Plateau's Quail Station. Designed specifically with quail in mind, this system is surrounded by hog paneling only allowing smaller wildlife access to feed and water. This system also collects rainwater with its roof, which flows into a gutter and down a spout to fill a holding tank with up to 100 gallons, which then drains into a float controlled water pan.

Interesting ! One suggestion ; Make the cage 08ft X 08ft on all sides still use a small square rain roof. REASON : This way a bobcat, coyote, skunk, racoon, or other small predators can not just reach in close to feeder / water and snatch a quail.

Adding a stake or two protruding several inches above the soil just inside the door will help keep larger animals from pushing that side in. Then slide lengths of PVC pipe over them so you’ll be reminded they are there so you won’t hurt yourself when entering.
