Your GT 750 is a beauty, I think we were very lucky in the 70's and 80's because there was some very beautiful motorbikes produced.

I’ve watched this video a few times now and I still enjoy it 👍🏻 Two stunning Kettles 👏🏻 There’s also something quite satisfying, having analog needles sweeping up and down the two clocks 😉

Hiya, really nice Kettle's well done 👍 02/23 and just gathering the parts of my 750J, stripped it 12 years ago then became ill 😷 so great encouragement to finally get on with it. Berkshire so not too far from railway museum 😁 will see how it goes 👍

Cracking vid mate. Rode my mates kettle in 1978, and really, being a “Suck, squeeze, bang, blow” merchant, especially for the 70’s and 80’s Japanese bikes, I have to say, NOTHING sounds like a kettle. I’m a bit the same with the KH triples too. You know them from 3 streets away, blindfold. I’ve got a collection of 4 strokes of the period, but I WILL have a kettle when I get chance. Nice one.

In the US a GT750 is a very rare bike. I haven’t seen on since the 80’s. Great bikes,,I’d love to own one. Love 2 strokes.

Ditto. I had the 500 cc version and wasn't water cooled but quickness was its forte.

Where you stopped at those lights in Aylesbury if you had hung a right past the pub there is a fairly new road which takes you straight to the Bicester road but on the outskirts of the town,...Always quiet and a nice 50 mph stretch !

Really miss my 75 GT 750 water buffalo. Like a little help though. She was factory yellow with triple discs and I can't find a replica of her anywhere. Northern California 1979. JR

Beautiful kettles you guys have there. Yeah, in the video it appears they are identical color. At least the fuel tank. There's a lot of nice vintage two strokes there. Great to see. I enjoyed the video. I'm curious if there is a brief explanation for how you do the voiceover on the video? I need to learn to do that.

Greetings from a fellow VJMC member (Kent). Absolutely stunning display. I can't wait for the warmer drier weather to get out on my '75 GL1000 or CB500T for a few rideouts. Just one question....Do you find that after standing in the VJMC gazebo for a while on a sunny day, when you step outside every colour looks really wierd? Cheers. Ian.

I don’t remember seeing a YDS3 at Quainton 🤔…do you mean the RD200?
@SteveSJDR2 жыл бұрын
@@mcmechanic864 Sorry, I thought the Yamaha at the beginning was a YDS7, not a YDS3.

When you shut the throttle on the over-run, does yours surge a bit, or a lot? Did you attempt to cure it?
@TroyaE117 Жыл бұрын
Mine surges a bit on the over-run but it runs so well otherwise I am loathe to mess with the carb' settings. There was a Suzuki bulletin (GT 36) to help minimise it, but it involved drilling and tapping an otherwise pristine carb set.
