The models and audio to the callback weapons look and sound great. I wad surprised they implemented Enemy Territory Quake Wars as well and bit confused in using Plasma Guns for Nail Guns. Thanks for the video.

Well in terms of weapon mechanics, damage and firing rate the plasma guns have always been almost exactly like the original SNG in quake 1 or at least filled the same role. The Q2 Hyperblaster, Q3 Plasma gun and Q4 Hyperblaster are all projectile weapons that shoot at around 600rpm or 10rps and the Q1 Laser Cannon was basically an SNG with bouncing projectiles

I'm a fan of the q4 rail and the Hell-Raiser myself. I think if you're going to put shaders on them in the future, I'd go with the Q4 rail and Q2 rocket.

Last Ritual looks like some unknown weapon for some but i can tell its the lasergun from Quake Scourge of Armagon the only detail is that the lasers dont ricochet on the wall.

You’re completely right. There are a few new original skins but mostly a compilation from all the games. They’ve recently added the grenade launchers from Q2 - Q4.

@@MajorShade i also hope we will be able to crouch-gauntlet someone below us like in q3/ql. atm QC allows only gauntletting UP. its easy to test when you stand on someones head/ 2 man pyramide

some of Gauntlets have idle sound similar to LG so it might be confusing trick to use against enemy. RG models seem to have similar idle sound. and theres also 1 PG/NG with idle sound - q4 NG

I bought the weapons around the time QuakeCon happens. They were 50% or more I think around that time. I’ve gotten a few from battle passes so it wasn’t too bad to pay for all of them. I know when the Quake PTS is up you can try out the weapons for yourself!
