Its impressive how far gyro gamers have come. I remember watching the steam controller player, playing cs go and i was blown away. Now i see you in a game that was famous for the only hardcore m&k game in the past and it looks like another day om the office.

Can you please make a video where you do a short review of gyro aiming, how you approach it and how you set it up. Talk about whats important and what limitations you see. especially from a quake champions point of view. Im so impressed and coriuos about the way you play. Thanks for the upload!

I get the feeling tracking someone doing 360s around smoothly might be hard.

It's actually easier depending on your binds. You can circle around someone keeping track with the right stick and then making corrections with the gyro vs having to occasionally pick up your mouse.

Oh I see we back on the touchpad style setup. Do you prefer it better for camera turns or is it only used for gyro ratcheting?

I think its better even tough, there are some downsides, wall of text incoming. Pros are: - Ratcheting becomes more fluid and faster through the immediate activation/de activation of the gyro. - Since it doesnt require any force to enable the gyro, your hands will have less tension in your which will allow you to aim smoother and the lack of a physical button causes less shakiness, because you dont have to worry about the pull-back of the button. - Since it is a touchpad you could have numerous other things bound to it, which would give you more buttons to work with. Cons: -Horrendous placement of the touchpad, the upsides of smoother aim almost get cancelled out because of the position its placed in. - Touchpad click is to sensitive and csuses accidentall clicks for me, which gets me killed all the time. - This kind of goes hand in hand with the first, the bad ergonomics causes you to have more tension in your hands, since the placement of the hands cant be symmetrical anymore (unless you have huge hands), which kind of sucks for consistency. I currently switch back and forth between using "x" or "touchpad" as a gyro activator.

@@getdunked Thank you for the thorough explanation I was contemplating on getting a dualsense controller myself since I play on an xbox controller with the armorx pro back attachment for gyro but i've come to realize it has a bad laggy gyro after trying out the ps4 controllers gyro and now I can't seem to go back to it. But now after seeing your videos it inspired me on getting a dualsense

@@juddsin7971 I don't think you can go wrong with buying a dualsense, but if the PS4 controller was the reason you would want to switch off the Armor-X Pro, it might be worth considering as well, since you can get a back button attachment for that controller, the dualsense doesn't have anything like this released yet... (I have the Extreme-Rate back button mod installed on my dualsense) Just my 2 cents.

Thank you, but I struggle as well, this game has the biggest tryhards playing UHT, i constantly have people in my lobbies that hit 50% lg... But I am improving at least :D

Aktuell verwende ich JoyShockMapper, ich finde JSM hat einige Funktionen die deutlich Zuverlässiger laufen als bei Steam, ich finde vorallem die unterschiedlichen "GYRO_SPACE" Funktionen sehr interessant.
