Final match for QuakeCon 2011 Quake 3 tournament dual. Video was split into two parts. Each part has has its own map. They should play 3 maps but because one player was dominating another one - two maps were enough. On this video you can see camera follows Fatal1ty quake 3 player.

Not 100% true. Starcraft and Dota requires a lot of skill to play in a T1 level and got good prize pools until today. I think Quake is not being marketed right, and looks like Bethesda got Quake very wrong...

In the beginning he has the stack and waits around, as if Zero is just going to pick a fight when he knows his opponent has more health. Later fatso keeps running into rockets and nades he KNOWS are coming. I don't get it: He's careful when the odds are in his favor and gets hyperaggressive when they aren't.

@RaniaIsAwesome Zero4 camped the RL and always had rail, and rail + RL is the key to that map. Camping RL means you have a great weapon and a teleport with 2 exit routes nearby which you can use to ambush if they're stupid enough to follow you (+ mega and YA nearby too). Fat was stupid enough. Multiple times.

@RaniaIsAwesome Not really. Zero4 was already as good as those other players you mentioned. Did you miss when Zero4 came 4th at Quakecon in 2014 and 2016? When he was practicing hard he could hang with the very best all the way until the end of Quake 3/Live. So there wasn't really a big step up in competition after Zero4. Zero4 was the first player of that caliber to show up, players who try to perfect their style and don't just mindlessly grind like Fatal1ty always has. I would agree that rapha is one league above, sitting at the top of the Quake 3 / Live mountain with Cypher and Evil. Tox was only good in Quake 4. Cooller was an inconsistent player. Sometimes he would "come back" and be great again but it never lasted. So same category as Zero4 imo.
