This is the Duel Grand Finals of QuakeCon 2012, held in in the beginning of August 2012.
The Players that reached this final are Alexey "Cypher" Yanusheuski (BLR) and Tim "DaHanG" Fogarty (USA).

It's just about the only video game I play consistently. It sucks that there are almost never new players, and having just started playing (...just barely have 200 hours in-game.) I'm almost always severely outmatched. Still fun though, and makes you better at all other FPS games as well.

I've quite done many competitive games, similar to Quake 3, and I am a pro, but there was somebody who was even better. And really, it's just playing with emotions and it can let you down when you have around 5 frags less than the enemy. Just let's you down.

Pretty funny to see cypher realize during toxicity that dahang wasn't hitting anything but his LG. After that he only has to deal with dahang's item pickups and honestly superior map knowledge, still manages to win. Last map embarrassing. I like dahangs game, it might be the best, but he is too nervous a player, focus seems low. Going through his routine but not making sure he lands the damage, kind of the opposite of cypher's game.

Yes you are right, the settings are: r_overBrightBits "1" and r_mapOverBrightBits "2". But I also raised the brightness, contrast and sharpness in this video, with my video editing software.

Stop talkshitting, I bet that you don't even know how to strafe jump properly. And I agree with AkIMa because yeah, quake champions is a good arena game but it has shitty servers, poor contents compared to quake live, and it has not even mod support and continuous lobbies...

Well in my cfg its seta cg_lightningStyle "1", but wolfcam (the programs that I used to play back the demos) has other lg option, like size, rendertype or impact size. Just start wolfcam and type in the console "cg_lightning" and press TAB to see the other options.

I'm seeing evidence of aimhacking... aiming around corners and firing before anyone could possibly have knowledge the opponent would be there, and it is done all the time. Can't predict like that.

I know the maps inside and out as well. You can't predict another players movement so accurately without being able to see them. Thats what the hacks do, let you see enemies players through walls. In the earlier days counter strike players would add modified gun and player models that had a large cone that was specially flagged through the game engine programming to display through walls. So people could instantly tell that someone was coming around a corner with an awp, MP5 M4 etc etc etc.

Then once that got flagged they modified the guns world models to be very long so you could see their weapons barrels coming around corners a good few seconds before the player would round them. There have been numerous instances of well known CS:GO Pros getting VAC Bans and using their cheats in big tournaments. Don't be dense.

+Helpertin What the HELL are you talking about? They are not playing online. They are playing on a LAN. They are probably not even playing on their own PC's. You think they somehow installed a wall-hack (since that's what you're failing to describe) without anybody seeing them? Then they play the game in front of a live audience, most of whom are far more knowledgeable about the game than you are, many of whom are also professional players, and also knowing that the demo file will be made available to be rendered for videos like this one and for people to watch and scrutinise at their leisure, yet you are the only person who can see this wall-hack?
