Представьте, что напротив вашего балкона на пальме большое гнездо этих квакеров и они весь день разговаривают между собой. Гнездо большое - на три-четыре семьи.

As someone who owns a quaker parrot, these are scared and aggressive noises! My bird only EVER makes these sounds when she's flying away from me when I'm sweeping or something like that because the size of the broom scares her. Or when she's angry/anxious screaming because I haven't been up to see her yet in the morning. Happy quaker sounds are much chirpier and less screamy than these. This video actively made my bird display aggressive body language and clearly irritated her. Please don't play this for your bird, unless you want to stress them out.

I am a youngling quaker parrot. It was gifted to me. This is the noise it ONLY makes except when I am near and talking to him. I currently have him out of the cage (third time), last time he landed on my shoulder and proceeded to nip at my shoulders then a big nip on my neck. He is listening to this now replying back and not doing the squarking. Any tips how to stop him nipping as much. My fingers seem a good treat for him to try. Not sure if I should, but I gave him a Peckish Rice cracker (made with real beetroot and he loves it). Well I give him a sliver. Also how old are these Quaker parrots. They look like my one (But mines blue). Are they youngish? I was told mine was young and people friendly hands on. I doubt thats the issue with this one

Spend one on one time. Get at least a 2wx4h feet cage or near that. Make sure he has toys can can destroy and get him on a proper chop diet. Change his water out more often and have two food bowls. One for dry food and one for chop. Don’t feed pellets that contain soy. Lastly, maybe have the cage in your room or a place that not a lot of people go. Never clip their wings, and they need at least 10 hours of sleep or more. If you put them to sleep after the sun sets and the sun rises before the needed time they’ll need more sleep. They also NEED silence and darkness. My bird is scared of the dark so it was difficult putting him to sleep. He came from a bad place where many birds are crowded in one cage so they would fight at night. He also fell when sleeping once and got a blood feather. There’s really no tricks I’m aware besides getting them used to it and to run to turn off the lights once you place him on his sleeping perch. Otherwise he will move when the light is on and will try moving back when it’s dark and get hurt. Spend one on one time. If your bird doesn’t want to leave the cage it’s most likely whatever room he or she is in is not safe. Or at least doesn’t look safe to the bird. It’s best to clear out the room and have a lot of empty space and clear tables and counters. Also, you can move something close to him and if he moves away or his feathers go flat and he makes a growling noise that object should leave the room. If he gets fluffy and hisses that object should NEVER be seen by him again. That’s a extreme reaction to something he thinks will hurt him very badly or kill him. That’s a serious reaction. If you do all that all, in around 1 week to a month your bird won’t let you leave him. Quakers are not social birds. Though people like to say they are because they live in large flocks, they’re extremely territorial in those flocks, fighting for one part of the large nest they live in. So let’s say the large nest is your house. Other people live in the house the same way other birds live in the nest. But his part of the nest is his room or cage. He’s gonna fight for his space. Lastly, don’t play other bird sounds, most of not all on youtube aggravates birds because they understand more than us. They can hear aggression and fear. They can predict the next words of birds. My bird started anticipating the next sound the birds would make even though the bird never made it previously and it was a video he hadn’t seen before. It’s weird but this can stress your bird out very easily. I suggest bird tricks and Mikey the macaw videos. They are both educational but Mikey and Mia videos are more daily life and fun times. You can try playing videos of their birthday parties when they free fly. It’s the only videos I could find on youtube that actually entertained my bird. I was able to walk away from out him chasing after me because he doesn’t wanna be alone. I finish a lot more chores now when I play their videos.
