I own a pair of T7V and got them for 250$, for a home recording studio it does the job very well.. In your mix comparison I prefered the low end of the Adam mix compared to the Neumann, but the top end is much more clearer on the Neumanns. Overall, great speakers for almost no money.

Great speakers. I had a pair for checking on something small for a few years. I was always impressed when I switched to them. Sounds like you’d be better off switching the tweeter back to flat, the Adam mix is quite dark compared to the other.

I notice the mix on the Adams had a lot less treble than the other one. I've also noticed my mixes tend to be very muddy and bass-heavy, so I wonder if it would be a good idea to buy speakers that emphasize the highs so much and risk thinking I've enough treble when I really don't.

Hello! On your advice, I also bought this studio speaker, it really sounds very nice... I just noticed one thing, I don't know if you have the same problem, if I turn down the volume, it's at a very, very minimal sound. i can hear the music...why is that? In principle, you should be completely silent, right?

The difference in monitors tonally in your mix, if I were to make an analogy. Sounds like a 15 watt amp compared to a 100 watt. Your Neumann's just breath and Open up more. That said I thought these sounded good. I think Cali audio stuff you looked at that is similar in price sound better.

@@jan7751-o4w Idk they look a little plasticky to me but I think that about a lot of speakers with plastic wave guides, horn loaded tweeters and baffles. It is their lower end line to so I'm not surprised they had to cut a few corner compared to their flagship line. Ribbon tweeters are highly respected but its odd he is not fond of the mid range. One thing about dome tweeters is they often crossover at lower frequencies. Yy guess is this tweeter would benefit from a three way design so the woofer does't have to extend as high.

I've read the T5V are punchier in the bass than the T7V or T8V. Less low end but tighter sounding at close range.

What’s good for someone using a kemper? I currently practice using my kemper into my laptop with ath-m50x headphones. Also what good headphones could I get for the kemper. Online forums are very chaotic with recommendations.

I use beyerdynamic dt770pro with my kemper and I think it works great. I use yamaha hs5 as monitors but I would get something else as these arent too precise.

I've had a pair of these for close to 3 years now and use them as my daily drivers... I love EVERYTHING about them! They sound INCREDIBLE! Even better when you add a sub for extra clarity in the low end.

It is dark in coloration, has wheels so it can be moved around the room easily and designed as a type of utilitarian item that one would sit in to avoid standing. A very nice example when it comes to chairs.

Clearly her got them sent, likely from Sweetwater which he thanked. His review was basically “5 inch monitors don’t do much for me, but if you’re shopping in that size range these are pretty good value for money you may find it helps to bump the bass and treble a tad.” So i dont think Adam is paying him to say wonderful things.

Stay away from the SSL 2 interfaces people on KZbin seem so happy to advertise. Don't believe the hype because most of the people who've bought them and raved about them seem like idiots. They're junk. I've learned my lesson about buying stuff because KZbinrs 'like them'. I got these speakers as a hobbiest , bedroom music maker and I'm liking them so far. They're legit to my ears.
