QualityWings 787 Electrical Power Application Tutorial

I`m getting close to making a decision on this aircraft. I have been watching this model for awhile now since I moved to P3Dv4. I admire the youthful passion behind it`s development. I have been wrestling with the QW787 and PMDG. However, the more I follow this aircraft, it` support, price, quality and humble representation I am almost ready to spring for her. Keep up the good work gentlemen. I like what you are doing.

Both are amazing aircraft developers. If you want to experience the newest aircraft and technology Boeing has to offer, go with the QW787. The PMDG 777 also has plenty of goodies on it as well and feels modern. I could understand why your choice is difficult. If you can, go with both! It is a win-win!

I owned the PMDG 747 under FSX. I really do not want to buy it again for P3Dv4.

O.K. I could wait no longer. I just purchased the QW 787. I can only comment on the external model right now. It is nothing short of stunning @ 4K. My Rig: CPU 8700K, GPU 1080ti, 32MB Ram, M.2 NVME SSD, Win10, P3Dv4. Pretty much max settings at 4K locked at thirty frames (ORBX/Flightbeam KSFO). Very smooth experience panning around so far. Man does this ship look pretty! I can`t comment on the overall FM yet but so far I have a completed two vectored flights to a manual final and she feels pretty good.

What if the battery is dead how long does it take for it to charge ?

AFP557 there is not at the moment

The parking brake will not set with no power on the plane. You need to push the towing button on the overhead to give you electric power to the brakes. Make sure you test the charge of the battery first before pushing the switch. Should be medium or high.

Sometimes after connecting the GPU, I do not get "Avail" on my overhead ext buttons, anyone else have this issue? This is after the battery is on and parking brake set.

The CPU usage on your aircraft is unacceptable. I fly perfectly fine with the FSLabs.

Greg Caesar we are sorry for your experience. Different product, different plane by a different developer. If the performance isn’t meeting expectations on your rig, make sure you take advantage of the 30-Day defund.

qualitywings I figured out the problem which had been driving me mad since I purchased the product in June: the terrain displayed on the ND - when enabled - causes stutters.

Parking brake ? A little bit too much emphasis on this dog. You can be rolling backwards on the ramp and the 787 will accept the power as long as it deems it acceptable. So let’s not spend that much time on this - Campeche
