I'm Mexican living in Florida and the difference is that pico de Gallo Is cut up ingredients and the salsa is mashed in a molkajete. But Mexico is a land of so many ingredients and different recipes in every region. Every Mexican makes there own recipe but there's so many .

I think pico de gallo is more freshly chopped and you have to use a food processor for salsa, at least that's what I think.

for the pico de gallo i would have used more white onion. pico de gallo is also known as salsa bandera, that means flag salsa. like the Mexican flag. green red and white

You made pico de gallo, yes. Salsa is more liquidy or runny because of being blended. Pico is just chopped.
