@Poignant_Ritual Жыл бұрын
@@villiioyt that's true too, I don't mean that this track/video doesn't have its own special flavorings. Just pointing out that the genre specifically is very often nostalgic, melancholic, and dreamy. I don't produce music or know anything about theory but I think a lot of it has to do with Shoegaze's wall of sound, and the way the vocal track is usually kind of lost in the mix and used as another instrument. It makes the distinctions between sounds blurry; you're not completely sure what is said, only interpreting an abstraction of a mood or a theme - the same way distant memories are or the sensation of nostalgia. Quannnic is like smashing pumpkins or Deftones where there is obviously some shoegaze DNA present, but some other stuff is mixed in so that there is a distinct kind of sound that still achieves a lot of the sensation and texture specific to shoegaze in general. I am high as fuck writing that so sorry for the wall of text lol

he didnt keep it up

@@crunchy_crop the only thing that seems to be off are your ears. This is clear imitation of Deftones. He hasn't reached it yet, so it sounds more like garage bands from the Deftones era.

Definitivamente, si mi vida fuera una serie esta canción sería el ending, no hay palabra para expresar el sentimiento que transmite 🫠

The lyrics relate to me very well, that’s why this song is on repeat. It explains me in a way that the outside world can’t seem to understand.

If you walked in my skin you’ll feel the jail. This relates me in the way that if any of you people were to be in my state of mind you would also feel shitty, you can judge me all you want and say that I don’t have real problems but if we were to trade brains you would come to agreement with the fact that I’m hurting, uncomfortable, and tormented. This doesn’t make me any less of the person I am and that I want to be treated equally.

Embed, it feels like eternal ache. When you feel like you’ve memorized something (peoples patterns of aggression towards you and how they react) so much it’s hard to forget about it. When you force yourself into believing things that are simply not true. Like you could be worthless, and people don’t like you. And no matter what you do you can’t stop thinking this way. The eternal ache part is just explaining how this feeling will never go away and you’ll just have to deal with it for the rest of your life.

Stuff me in it’s beautiful. Ah the feeling of acceptance with all your problems but not in a good way. All your enemies are stuffing you with this bad energy and you’ve finally dealt with enough where you come to the point of giving up on the fight to overcome them. The beautiful part is just an exaggeration, like a dramatic way of saying to those enemies I bet you’re satisfied with the outcome.
