This is an awesome mod, but I can't solder tiny components like that. :/ The matching firmware is also amasing! Quansheng should make a new "K7" with this built-in.

I tried this. No luck. Screen just says "wait" when I try to switch into HF mode and stays locked. It took me 3 hours to get it done and I'm not sure if I have a faulty module or if I just bumped something I shouldn't have. :(

After firmware it should come on even more if the Hardware mod failed .
