In 4th question as per conditions given A G & I received water on 31st Dec 2013, and LCM of AG&I is 400 so only once in 2013 is correct, but if we assume they all received water on 1st Jan 2012 answer would be 2.

No it would still be 1. If they receive it on 1st Jan 2012, the next instance would be 400 days later that is some day in 2013, and the 2nd instance would be 800 days later, by which time 2013 would've ended and 2014 started. So only once in 2013.

It's given that Panchsheel, Supertech, Amrapali received only on 5th day, 6th and 10th day respectively but it's not given that Gaur received only on every 16th day. So can't we take Gaur to receive water on every 2nd or every 4th or every 8th or every 16th day ?

30th May is the first instance during the year where maximum number of societies get water. Question is asking when is the second instance so answer will be 28th August 👍

How come gaur receives water on 31st dec as it will receive on 16jan there on 16dec +after every 16day would be 32(16+16 therefore how come 31st dec)??

because u don't know when is last time they will get water on same day (in 2012 ) so u have to reverse ur days to get 31st dec 2013 because may be in nov2012 they all are receiving water on same day so if u add 400 days u will get 31 dec2013 so in question its just mention about 2012 not dates thus u have to reverse ur days .

Go through all the 8 sets in around 10 minutes. If you think you can solve 4 or less sets, take 14-15 good minutes for each set. Else, if 5-6 sets are solvable, make it under 10 minutes. For more, start chasing the speed of light.

Sir in the last question i.e when A,G & I will receive water together in 2013? You are mentioning 365 days of (2012)+35 days of (2013)........But 2012 is a leap year, therefore it will be 366+34 days.....3rd Feb 2013(exact date). Anyway your videos are great.

Sir if you counting a date since 2012 to 2013 so this answer become wrong ❌ because in manner they given in question so you can observe these three society can't received 💦water in singal day and your LCM logic is base on overall number of time they received water together but here when I count the dates as it given so output is different

In the 4th question Amrapali, Gaur, Infinity, these 3 societies should receive water on a single day but the condition didn't mention "only" so it could have been more than three societies. So the answer should be 3 not 1.

Even if we add other societies, only 4 societies are possible in 2013, and the ans by taking LCM for others is 400, which is the same for 3 societies as well. So only on 400th day, they'll receive water together

When they say every 5th , 6th ,10th and 16th and 25th day they mean at those intervals so 1st soc receives water at intervals of 5 days and so on for others so if Panchsheel received water on 5th jan then the last time it received water 5 days ago which is 31st dec 2013 , same way water received on 6th jan will have received water at an interval of 6 days so again same , 31st dec and then deduct 10 ,16 and 25 from each date and you will see all received water last on 31st dec 2013

Understand this,It is mentioned that water is being received after x days. Thus it is mentioned that panchsheel received water on 5th January and it receives every 5 days.So if you calculate 5 days from before the water is received it will come as 31 December.The same logic is applied to all the societies as well.

did u get it btw? well, if not...see, some moths have 30 days..in those months last day to get water will be 30th.. now, lets say a month has 31 days, then if the society gets water on 5th date then the last time it will get on 30th..but in next month it will get water on 4rth date cause 31st day of previous month does this affect and is also counted..so for next month every 5th day would be 4,9,14 and so on... Just an example..for amarpali days would be:JAnuary(10,20,30)..31st january will be counter so in feb 10th day would come on 9th feb..so Feb(9th,19th)..since feb has 28 days..from 19th feb to 28th feb 9 days would be counted..then the 10th day will fall on 1st March..so in March(1,11,21,31)....see...that's how 31 which is not a multiple of even 10 can come...same is the case with 5. if 5th january is the day that means counting started from 1st january....that means previous day of getting water was 31st december 2013.

all 5 societies cant get water in same year 2014 as it is on every 2400th day so only 4 societies can give water, by taking lcm of 4 societies there are only 2 posibilities left i.e lcm of 5 6 10 25 i.e. 150 which will come on may and its second on oct and second 5 6 10 16 ie 240 which will come around august so we take 240 one and if u add dates of each month till 240 you will get around 28th august
