To new artists: biggest advice I can give is to draw with confidence. Swoop your lines, go bold when you’re ready to line it, choose big colors. Maybe you’ll mess up sometimes. But 20% of art is down to unabashed confidence. Draw your heart out and create things that might fail. If you fail, you learn, and often create something unexpectedly beautiful. If you win, you learn and make what you wanted to. Well done. You have created something amazing; you made it with your own hands, and I am genuinely proud of you ❤️

@@charlottebeads Absolutely, friend! you got this!! seriously, we get used to drawing as artists. we forget the majority of people on earth don't actually draw at all. we have a superpower. every day you try, you get better, and suddenly, you'll look back and be shocked at how far you've come. press on, you are already an amazing artist

I realized today how much better i'm getting. We're working with complementary colors and stuff like that and we drew apple yesterday and today. I thought mine looked okay, but me and the people at my table were showing our drawing progress and they said mine was really good and called over our teacher to see. She told me that maybe I should teach the class. It made me feel really good. I've also learned lots of new techniques, one of my favorites being a discovery of weaving beads together. Since jewelry making is another hobby of mine, I had the materials, so I tried and made my new favorite bracelet :D Good luck with your art-and remember to try new things from time to time!@@ruthiewitter569
