At 37:15, on his slide, "2. Use phase estimation: \sum \beta_i |v_i> \\lambda_i>", the presenter skips (or forgets) to explain or introduce what the state |\lamda_i> is. This was a very good presentation though. I was following intently and wished the explanation was a bit more thorough on this slide.

His algorithms presented did not consider entanglement. Searching for good rather than bad solution with polynomials, or periodic functions emphasize the "analog," solution to the problem, without considering entanglement. Emphasis on Fourier transforms would decipher the period ignoring the entanglement factor. Otherwise, the algorithms appeared to provide some indication of what quantum computing may accomplish.
