ok but someone could have intercepted the initial qubits sent by Alice and hence find out their shared secret key because Alice also stated her operations on the qubits. therefore, having these operations known, everyone could just replicate the originally sent qubits

The photons can be read only once, and alters the key shared, which is noticed by Alice and Bob as soon as they go public.

i am not sure if explanations provided are actually correct. for example, at time stamp 2:57, left lower corner - the probability of "blue" outcome is actually 0%, not 50%. You will get 50% probability if the slit was tilted 45 degrees.

I think the explanation is correct. When measuring in the up-down direction, the outcome can only be one of the eigenvalues of the up-down operator (red or blue). The expectation value will be "0" (or purple, if you like) when the arrow representing the initial state is perpendicular to the measurement direction, but a single measurement will yield either blue or red (in this case with 50% probability).
