If you have this game digitally it will most likely crash when you hit the enemies on this sage. The work around is to have your team set to the default with the default weapons, aka Mario, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Luigi with the starter weapons.

not only exclusive to the digital versions and changing your team to default wasn't necessary for me at all, what fixed it for me was closing the application from the switch menu, jumping back into the game and then selecting the challenge from peach's castle opposed to from the world itself

This didn't work for me unfortunately. Default weapons didn't fix the problem. =(

I tried it and the game just crashed on me, I tried using their default it has lower damage so enemies would not died easily

this one is easy you just need to upgrade itchy feet to +3 tiles and give luigi max movement and you can straight up just walk there

Tbh just playing these challenges made me realize that they are either glorified puzzles, or a traditional kill everything on screen objective, so they all would’ve been easy for me who has played this game many times, except it crashes only on this challenge due to the fact that everytime the smashers need to move, it will crash, and no one has a consistent solution to get around this which frustrates me since getting 100% on every area after I beat them is how I like to play, but the game punishes for not circumventing the puzzle by coming back when I have more than 200 or so power orbs, which I hate because this make this challenge the hardest thing in the game, which no one knows just how bad it is in the game that is otherwise my favorite switch game so far.

Other Solution: Get a Max movement luigi (itchy feet is optional) and then have luigi just walk to the end zone

yeh i did that basically, but it feels stupid from my part, this way feels smarter xD, i just had to make mario jump over rabbid luigi to get next to luigi, then use the itchy feet and make luigi jump on mario and reach there, i had to change talent tree to maximise mouvement

I did it where I bounced Mario toward Rabbid Luigi. I then team jumped w/ Rabbid Luigi off of Mario, passed Luigi just a bit. That was enough for Luigi to be able to team jump off of him and into the safe zone

I found that if you do this challenge through the washing machine It doesn't crash, but going to the challenge does

Waited till luigi was just able to walk to the yellow area by himself. Cleared the game. Maxed all his walking out. No error or software crash. =)
