I am totally enjoying this "re-do" of the show. It certainly has much more deeper plot than the original - although I don't like the "leap home" never going to happen theme. Just enjoy the ride!

I like Ben and Hanna together they have the perfect chemistry but let's not jump too far somebody's keeping track of ben's leaps with a tracking and information device in the microchip it could be the future Hanna remember ben leap back into the past when he meet Hanna she could be the one that keeping tabs on quantum leap team and Ben ! She could have been a part of the bad leaper team AKA future evil leapers

I know I'm jumping too far to think she's a bad leaper but somebody that's smart created a bad quantum accelerator in the future and she look like she's smart enough to build her own she's smart and she know about time and space just like Ben

GREAT SHOT!!! What a break for Ben. he needed this!!! Change everything!!!! You know Sam kissed a lot of girls in 97 episodes. Go Ben!!!!!!!!! I love the leap kiss. It was one of my favorite things about the old show. She'll never know!! Unless you tell her. Hahahahahhaaahahah. Ben. Who does he think he is a Highlander??? well, sort of........

Ray gets it. This is the same dynamic which made the old Hulk show so successful. It wasn't just the formula it was a combination of writing and character development but it was also about the internals of Banner. How is what is happening to him effecting him and what does that look like as years go on. You have to deal with that on some level and a lot of that has to come from the actor. Bixby nailed it. He loathed the hulk. It was different than in the newer movies where the hulk is more of a novelty. Not taken seriously. I like it when a character looks in the mirror and deals with things. Even in a sci fi deal like QL, you need that stuff because it tethers the character to reality and is interesting. In the old show there was not as much emphasis on Sam's mental state and things like that, so this new show can use more emotional build up in him, for all sorts of things, including setting up a "evil Ben" or something. All of this going against Ziggy and even Tom now, is bound to have, well, negative effects. Tom could hold Ben personally responsible. Or what if Ben goes against him and it ends up being the things that set up Toms wifes death. I read a theory about that. Seeing this dislike which has been developed between them, the situation is ripe for Ben to do more off script tinkering but a what cost for the future. A QL being used my the military for strategic leaping. Then they turn it into a torture for people in jail. That's sort of what the evil leapers were doing. Making people leap and do bad things. Promising them it would be the last time but it never is. Mandatory memory wipes. You would think the new team would have this more figured out by now and realize they are being manipulated. Remember the first conversation Martinez has with Ben at the end of the Wild West episode? He talks to Ben as though Ben has forgotten things which Martinez has not. Like Ben is at some sudden disadvantage he does not realize and the audience has not been explained either. Martinez talks like Ben is following him but was he? Wasn't Bens Leap path the result of Ian leaping from somewhere in the future and giving Ben some future code that would allow him to build momentum and hit a leap target?????? What was Martinez talking about??? Does present day Martinez still live down the road? Hahahaha. He's always there just in case.

I'm so happy you brought up Hulk. Bruce Banner is at his core, a Dr. Jekyll cursed with an near unstoppable Mr Hyde. He's running from EVERYONE to cure himself, and he is at war with himself.

The next quantum leap is hannah because she meets Ben song in her timeline and also this is my theory about this season to meet them and when he returns his own timeline never forget her and he tries to leap again until he meets her again.

Just rewatched 3, 6 and 8. I call it the Hannah's trilogy. Yes I am shipping Ben and Hannah. Addison got Tom now, and he's a great man. I am dreading the day they say goodbye instead of see ya later. It will be a hell of a heartbreak.

This show is TERRIBLE compared to the ORIGINAL! There are 3 reasons for this: 1. Ben has leaped at least 4 times outside of his OWN LIFETIME, even once in 1692???? There is never an Explanation of why He is able to do this. In the ORIGINAL Series, Sam leaped into the Civil War, but he LEAPED into a Relative meaning there was a reason. 2. They never show the date where Ben leaps on the Screen. 3. Ian is a weird character. He talks like a guy but looks like a WOMAN!
