Summary: A talk by Prof. Ravi Gomatam. What is the exact nature of quantum reality? Quantum mechanics, nearly a century old, still defies a clear answer to this question. Textbook presentations of quantum mechanics don't go beyond pragmatically useful but ontologically infertile conceptions such as wave-particle duality, non-locality, and entanglement. Some interpreters have attempted to make far-fetched connections between the experimenter's mind or consciousness and physical reality. This talk will present the possibility of developing a truly quantum conception of reality underlying quantum mechanics. The talk will presuppose no familiarity with quantum theory.
