Recently purchased this machine and have to say the quality is outstanding. With regard to the vertical stacking of plates I made some small spacers to go between the plates to make removing them easier. I have shoulder issues so benching and military pressing with a straight bar gives me problems, the floating movement of the arms eliminates them. Really grateful for this revue it was what encouraged me to make the purchase , which I am really happy with.

Being able to break it down to put in the garage in warmer months and being able to not tie up the functions of the power rack are great features.

For me, this is a huge reason why I love the machine. I can't stress enough the ease of breakdown. I see myself having time with this set up and times when I break it down.

I'm interested in the QT. It's just a shame the price is what it is but this is often the case with a smaller company dealing in lower production runs. It'd be cool if they could partner with a larger manufacturer to release a less expensive version the way Peppin did with REP fitness on those dumbbells.

I think you can't compare this to a rack with "jammer harm" until you own it yourself and use it by doing all the possible exercises with the various jammer arms!

Awesome update dude, I couldn’t agree more with this. The more I use the QTPro2 the more I love it, and initial impressions were amazing anyway. The mind is the only limiting factor with this machine I think. I’ve got so many exercises jotted down on a note pad with the set up numbers etc but the variations are endless I feel. Keep these videos flying out dude great exposure for an incredible machine 💪🏻

No problem. Some standouts for me are any pressing movements, flys, chest supported row, all the delt raises, shrugs, single arm hacksquat using the straight bar and a slant board, belt squat and bicep curl standing side on to machine each arm.

@@powerplanthomegym So as I was on the Quantum Trainer Instagram page I noticed your name there and saw that you also have an IM2000. Do you believe the QT can adequately replace the IM? I also have one and just listed it to make room for a QT.
@powerplanthomegym
@powerplanthomegym 2 ай бұрын
@@dannyrodriguez5737 it’s a totally different machine, that’s why I have both. IM2000 for barbell training, smith function, also vertical leg press and the high and low pulley use. Both really versatile machines that do different things, but supplement each other so well IMO. Would I replace the QT from the IM2000? I’m not sure. It would depend on your own personal training style / goals. I have both in a single car garage, not sure how limiting your space is. What I would add though is if you’re not using the IM2000 as a half rack too and only as smith function I’d say the QT is definitely miles ahead. If you can have both I’d highly recommend doing that, they seem to be the perfect combo.

Same. Not only adjustable arms but articulating so they move horizontally and vertically. I'm looking at the Griffin 2.0 or the new PRx Performance Halo Arms that drop next month. I've heard REP is releasing a new design of their arms as well.

And what are your thoughts on the QT for leg training? Would you give it a good feel for squatting? Thinking DLs probably aren't great, so maybe keep an open trap bar.
@hybridresistance
@hybridresistance 2 ай бұрын
@@dannyrodriguez5737 It does lever bar squats and hinge patterns very well. I also really like lunging / squatting with the strain bar landmine attachment over one shoulder. I'd probably just deadlift with regular weight though. I also really like their leg curl/extension universal bench attachment, but Glen is still upgrading that a bit until it's being sold. According to Glen other attachments are also in the future. Thanks for watching !

@hybridresistance
@hybridresistance 2 ай бұрын
That's been on the list, but it's something I'd have to pay for and it honestly is not something that I really see myself using. I have nothing against buying stuff for review, but a main point that needs to be hit is if I see value in it personally given the high price tag. All that said, there's a good chance I could cover it this summer.

I would want to buy this with the attachment for the lat pulldown/triceps and the leg attachment you have to complement it. I have tried contacting the company, but they have yet to respond. Do you have any idea what these attachments would cost? If they are expensive, having a complete gym will add a lot of cost. When you add the weight plates for around $800 and the attachments, you could be into this for closer to $5000. I was ready to pull the trigger on this, especially since I can set this up on my patio, but I will wait and see when the attachments are available and what they cost. As always, excellent video demonstration and honest opinions on all your videos.

@hybridresistance Ай бұрын
Thanks John. I assume if they didn't get back to you it will just be a matter of time. But I assume within the next month or two max those attachments will be ready. He could have started selling what I'm using, but he wanted to hold off until he perfected the attachments. They know the cost is getting up there as well as people expect these attachments. I have a feeling the lat attachment will be very affordable possibly included and the leg/curl will be something

@@andreadalex8893 having tried most of the lever gyms this feels totally different to them, also these arms are way more versatile. A lower pulley can be set up DIY style for cheap or a dedicated machine with an adjustable pulley is relatively low cost and add loads more functionality. I really rate the powertec levergym and even more so the ATX triplex but this machine is a totally different beast.

Can you get a deep stretch for pressing movements? Seems like the Arms stop you from going deep
@hybridresistance
@hybridresistance 21 күн бұрын
I kind of depends on the exercise, but that could be argued as a limiting factor of the machine is the lack to be able to adjust the arms. I did ask the owner and he said there was a good reason for this based on the design as well as making it sturdy.

Also interested in jammer arms review. When you were at Home Gym Con did you see the new Halo Arms that PRx Performance were showcasing that drop next month? Unlike the Vendetta arms where you need adapters, the Halo arms have built in articulation and other new designs such as the Griffin 2.0.

@kyles8391

@@UberAugie yeah guessing those Halo arms will be at a different pricing tier since they've got more options, more hole spacing, greater range of motion, and you can lock in the articulation at different angles. That's important for me since I plan to leave the arms on full-time and don't want them to get in the way of my pulleys.

I like buying cheap as next much as the next person with certain things so I empathize what they're saying. But I agree if you had this side by side some of the cheaper "home gym products", you'd know instantly what the increase in price is. Not to mention when you start to learn the cost of some of these items going for ~1k.
