My step-brother built his 'home' out of old pallets more than 40 years ago and still lives in it!! Yes, he lives off the grid, but it's a comfy place, has pot belly stove to heat and cook on. He's made it very livable over the years and likely will stay there the rest of his days!

It was more trouble than it was worth, even with the proper tools. I believe it took 10 pallets for that stand. Watching this video, this guy used easily 1,000 pallets

When I saw his wedding ring I was not surprised! A skilled, practical, resourceful, creative, hard-working man like that is a joy to any good woman's heart. I grew up watching a man like that build our family's home and garden from trees, earth and stones, and recycled materials. That man was my father. May he rest in peace. ❤️
