I just bought a UN43TU7050FXZC and was wondering if there's a way to program the remote or a universal remote to sleep the TV with a button on the remote. Right now, I have to go into Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer (Roughly 7 or 8 clicks) to sleep the TV. I used to press one button my old RCA. Any suggestions would be appreciated, otherwise I may have to return it.. I have some smart plugs, but I cannot say "Hey Siri, turn off the TV in 3o min." She does not know how to do that.

Hello Quantum, Thanks for this great video!!! Quick question, on my other recent Samsung TVs, when entering the Service menu, in the MRT section, there is a setting called "Network Support" where you can turn off the WIFI transmitter. For some reason on the S95, that setting is not available in MRT. Do you or does anyone here know where that setting might be sound on the S95B? (I realize you can turn off wifi in the regular TV settings but that does NOT actually turn off the transmitter--even when TV is off, the TV is transmitting).

Is there an option in the Samsung S95B service menu to disable the sharpness reduction for HDR content? I’m a guy that’s maxes out my sharpness for all my TV’s. I noticed whether it be Xbox games & apps, or Samsung’s built in apps, there’s a reduced sharpness in anything HDR. Even if I have my sharpness set to max, the HDR content still has reduced sharpness, while SDR can still achieve the maximum sharpness. Most calibrators that keep their sharpness at 0 or halfway may not notice the difference. I keep my sharpness maxed out, and not to say that the S95B doesn’t have great punch. It does, but I like that shiny pixel look or over-sharpness that’s the default sharpness does for SDR content. I do prefer the better quality of HDR, but I’m very aware of the reduction in sharpness when it’s set to max compared to SDR. To give you an idea of the effect I’m talking about, it’s similar to the “super resolution” setting that’s usually greyed out in the latest Vizio models. It’s the same with Vizio where HDR has reduced sharpness compared to SDR. At least Vizio gives you an option change that setting for HDR in certain picture modes. I guess the “super resolution” setting and default max sharpness is really same thing but a different term. I just bought the S95B, and I decided to go with that instead of the Vizio OLED H1, because I went for Samsung’s better brightness. I may order the VIZIO OLED anyway and compare the two according to my likings, but please tell there’s a setting in the S95B service menu to give HDR the same max sharpness as SDR? Other than that, I think the S95 is great TV to hold me until I get a 75inch OLED from next years models.

I do have experience with the service menu, as I accessed it before to disabled the S95B’s ASBL. I’m just not familiar with any of the menu terms relating to my HDR sharpness issue. If this particular issue is too technical to solve, at least share with me if you can any service menu options that can expand the regular sharpness setting past it’s default cap.

Download Samsung tv remote App, on your smart phone. There you can connect over wifi, to most Samsung smart TVs. With smart remote, you cant.

I did the same thing (or close) trying to "fix" a display white spot issue (wrong: it appears to be a physical issue with the backlighting). Now my Amazon fire stick is tinted green. The TV menus and smart TV apps appear color correct, such as watching Netflix. So it is HDMI port/protocol/config related I suspect. But no clue. I have not been able to correct it.

I hope with your expertise you can tell me if there is a way to increase memory for the Samsung Electronics UN65MU6300 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2017 Model). All other videos have not helped. The preinstalled apps have used all but 4% of my memory. I used to be able to have every app I needed, (which wasn't a ton mind you) How do I delete cache? There does not seem to be a setting for that on this model. How do I delete preinstalled apps? There HAS to be a way. Using Developer Mode the Deep Link Test does NOT show up. Does any of these settings turn off the overscan? its way too much on samsung tv's cutting and losing alot of picture around the edge of the screen. i dont know why its greyed out in the normal menus as it should be the viewers decision to turn it on or off.

Samsung is not very helpful saying you can add fav channels just if you have a cable straight to the one connect box and not via hdmi ( stb ). I explain to them that the option is there for 55ks7000...pointless

hey do you know how to bring up the Local set and SW Model and BOM Model on a QN557FAMFXZA? tech put new main thinking that was the problem and left it on whatever was there it was showing Canada he should of changed it to United States it had it. but in SW model he didn't look through the list right for my model he ended up leaving it like that when I saw he just exited. after he left I went in but those 3 boxes are not under options for me their missing. it is brand new board so it was first time menu access. I want to put the information correctly if you or anyone knows how to bring those 3 options back under options any info would be great thanks?

BTW wish I could get my original board put back since it had all original settings cause its the panel with issues and it'll be changed soon. Samsung shipped it to their tech so I believe Monday they'll be here to swap panels but in the meantime I want to correct main board info. I wonder if their auto detect all info or something.

You have to call Samsung IT. Sounds like a software issue.
