I am 50 years young and have never made biscuits, only because I guess I had a self-made fear of them being too tedious and difficult to prepare….so I was cooking sweet potatoes and air fried chicken and bought…hmmmmmm….wish I had some biscuits to go along with dinner…searched KZbin and came across your video….and OMGGGGGGGG whipped these up really quickly….and MY DAUGHTER AND I WERE DANCING AROUND THE KITCHEN WHEN WE TASTED THESE….ABSOLUTELY HEAVENLY…..AMAZING…..I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH…THANKS A MILLION…NOW I KNOW HOW TO MAKE BISCUITS FOR MY FAMILY❤️

These mayonnaise biscuits worked perfectly! Delicious and don't even taste like mayo, they just have a slight hint of sweetness from the sugar, they are really pleasant. Make them if you don't have any bread on hand, the recipe is like magic

My mother used to make chocolate cake with mayonnaise. It sounds crazy but it was an easy and moist chocolate cake. A lot of my grandmother's recipes are from WWII when there was rationing and also because they lived in northern Maine and in the winter fresh items were hard to get so they used a lot of canned / jarred items.

PAULA , I dearly love You & Your show & most of the Recipes you do ... But , I do have to say that even though your Mayo biscuits looked pretty good , your ingredients & your process did not do justice to the fluffiest , lightest , best tasting ( alongside their sister biscuit , the Yogurt biscuit ) biscuits of all time ... Now mind you , the ingredients list is not that far off , but enuff off to matter ...AND your process makes all the world of difference in the world , as to taking the totally wet sticky batter & scooping it up & dropping it into a muffin tin , when you do it changes the whole texture , consistency , & taste of what should be wonderful pillows from heaven ... I Could describe the whole proper process for Mayo Biscuits but I digress & rather refer you to a much better source than me ...A Lady who has the Recipe down Pat & ALSO , the Very Best Process To End Up With The Most Beautiful MAYO BISCUITS you've EVER SEEN ... That lady would be a fellow KZbinr , TAMMY NICHOLS @ " COLLARD VALLEY COOKS " & Has a Video Showing them being Baked in an Iron Skillet , but the Skillet is only a Part of the process....I sincerely hope you take this as some Friendly , Helpful , Constructive Criticism from a Subscriber that loves you & your show & Actually Searches out Tammy's Video & watches it completely through because I believe that you wholeheartedly want to make each & every recipe to the Very Best of Your Ability ....Once you see her finished product & how beautiful inside & out & how soft & fluffy they are you will thank me for the tip ............... Respectfully Yours , ART ......💋❤ P.S. Tammy's MAY BISCUIT RECIPE VIDEO was posted around 11 months ago , I guess it was around Aug. 2021 , in case anyone wants to look it up & View it , coz it is Definately worth everyone's time to do so , You Will Not Be Disappointed...👍👍👍🍞🍞🍞

Are correct, Yogurt Biscuits ARE the lightest softest Biscuits on the Planet , my mother used to make them back in the 1970's ...The real secret to mayo & yogurt biscuits being so soft light & fluffy is the process ...Have to be cooked in an iron skillet where they can grow & touch each other like rolls do , & baked at a higher temp ( up to 400° / to 450° ) which they will be done but not so brown on top & bottom which they will be done but not browned & crusty but still soft & light , perfection for both types , mayo & yogurt ...
