I still feel like how I was 4 years ago, I have not changed and I'm 15 now. Like I think as soon as we were starting to go online, I like every kid took advantage of it and watched KZbin and tried playing games making me care less about the learning so then after I graduated from elementary school in 2020 and went to middle after summer school and break ended we went in person, I felt way less into the learning and more into the fun of non academic stuff like art and watching KZbin. I am now 15 in high school and literally I feel different and the same, I don't know why.

One thing I find really annoying about when quarantine started was the fact that it started before one of my school’s field trips. I was in 6th grade and my social studies class was going to go on a field trip to New York City! But then quarantine started and we couldn’t go. I completed 10th grade this year and I still find it so annoying! 😢

Same I was in 5th grade too, literally I remember my school sending home papers for my login info for things I use in school like websites. Like man wasn't that a crazy time. Never got to go outside so I assume I knew about it in 2020 and not in 2019. At least I got to see my 5th grade teacher outside my old apartment and 2 others were outside with a "Graduation 2020" sign so I can take a graduation picture with my teacher. I still have the picture of both me and him. Man that was 4 years ago, I was 11 and that makes me old just by knowing that like WOW!

The COVID era was the shittiest era of my time. I noticed that there was a virus going on and I have to stay out for a couple of weeks and this weeks turned to years. And during that time it was so shitty. During that era I have a family member passed away and I was so mentally unstable during that time I failed my classes so much, I lost my sparks for my online school. I was a straight A student. But Covid really messed up with my life, I had classes that I barely listened at. I always had F’s in my classes and never did my assignments and when my family member passed, it really hit me hard cause i absolutely lost all meaning with school and the virus. I had a therapist with me and it worked fine but I was still mentally unstable because of that action. I was so depressed with my life I thought that it would never end. I was so worried about my school life because im always getting F’s. And this continued on. And I really didn’t know what would happened because I was so mentally depressed and unstable. I really hated the COVID era it was the most horrible thing that had ever happened to me. It put me to the lowest of my life. I lacked vitamin D and I still do to this day. But I’m fine now, after I got back to school I was happy and glad because I didn’t want to experience the COVID lockdown anymore. And I still had to recover because I had decent grades but not as I used to be. But I managed to get straight A’s. It was such a shitty era I never want to experience it again.

Duuuude I sometimes loathe the quarantine era because I was one of those try hard, straight a, nerd kids who really cared and liked school. Then 2020 came and I was a junior at that time (I’m class of 2021). I found it very difficult to adapt to the online schooling. I was taking a college courses and submitted assignments online, but trying to learn everything else online was just not getting to me. I almost didn’t graduate because I had horrible grades, and I used to be like top 10% of my class until I wasn’t anymore. I was waiting for senior year, and I didn’t get it. It was a state year for marching band and I didn’t get to participate. Graduated in a football field, and ever since then I spent so much time on my phone and short form content that I cannot handle long form content anymore and I cannot learn the same. I struggle with school and I’m so behind. Something I was really good at I am now very bad at was a really hard reality to face but I mean idk if it was Covid for sure but I wondered if it weren’t for quarantine, would I have not struggled with school and graduated by now? Idk I keep hearing the opposite where people loved Covid bc they preferred online school and it was an advantage but a lot of people didn’t handle the online schooling well and nobody hears it (or at least I hadn’t)
